🌞 Hot Food Vendors Wanted - SummerFest 2026 🌞
We're looking for one or two more hot food vendors to join us at SummerFest, our free community live music event at Greenwood Park on 30 August.
With around 1,000 visitors expected, it's a great opportunity to showcase your food and be part of a friendly, family-focused community event.
If you're a local food trader and would like to get involved, please get in touch:
📧 [email protected] (Joanna)
📞 01923 681443
We'd love to add even more variety to the food offer while supporting local businesses.
Please feel free to share this post with any local food vendors who may be interested.

⚠️ Oak Processionary Moth (OPM) Warning ⚠️
Please be aware that OPM caterpillars are present on some of our local oak trees. Their hairs can cause rashes, eye irritation, breathing problems and allergic reactions in people & dogs..

Please do not touch the caterpillars or their nests, keep children and dogs away, and do not try to remove nests yourself.

If you spot a nest on our land in any of the parks & woods managed by us in Chiswell Green, Park Street & Bricket Wood, keep your distance and report the location to us using a what3words location.
Many thanks for your assistance in helping us, so we can treat the nests quickly and safely..

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Thursday for the St Stephen Parish Council Annual Parish Meeting at Greenwood Park Community Centre.
The evening was a chance to reflect on everything achieved across the parish over the past year, including improvements to the Mayflower play area and its grand reopening, newly laid traditional hedging along the A414 and the planting of 2,500 trees along the boundary with the A405 to create the New Wild Edge. We also celebrated the success of last year’s community events: Armed Forces Day, the Remembrance Service and the Christmas Market - all of which were very well attended and showed the fantastic community spirit across our Parish.
The meeting also gave us the opportunity to recognise some wonderful local individuals and groups whose hard work, dedication, and positive impact helps make St Stephen such a wonderful place to live.
Many congratulations to our 2026 Community Award winners:
Business Award Michele Chapman
Group Award The Parish Pickers of St Stephen
Individual Award Anna Barrett
Special Award Joy Mendelsohn
