Thank you, Talgarth.

And just like that, Talgarth Festival 2026 is over.

What a weekend.

Thank you to every musician who performed, every trader who joined us, everyone who entered the Gardening Show, our fantastic food and drink vendors, everyone who bought a duck, and every person who came along and enjoyed the weekend with us.

A particularly enormous thank you goes to our volunteers – the people who put up gazebos, moved tables, sold ducks, carried things, answered questions, cleared rubbish, solved problems, stood in the rain and then stayed behind to take it all down again. A special mention to everyone who clung onto a gazebo during the brief yet very intense thunderstorm!

Talgarth Festival simply couldn't happen without you.

And finally, thank you to everyone who came out and supported a community festival run entirely by people who love seeing Talgarth busy, bustling and full of life.

We hope you had as much fun as we did.

Enjoyed Talgarth Festival? Fancy helping us put it back in the box?

Once the last duck has crossed the finish line and the festival starts winding down, there's one final job to do...

We need to take all those gazebos down again!

We'll be starting the big clear-down from 5pm today, and this is one of those jobs where lots of people giving us a little bit of time makes an enormous difference.

You don't need to be a committee member or have volunteered before. If you're still in town at 5pm, come and find us and lend a hand.

Stay for half an hour. Stay for an hour. Bring a mate.

The quicker they come down, the quicker our very tired festival volunteers can go home!

THIS IS NOT A DRILL. IT'S DUCK RACE DAY.

Weeks of gruelling training have led to this.

At 3pm today, our elite yellow athletes will finally take to the water for the Talgarth Festival Duck Race.

Haven't backed a duck yet? There's still time – but online duck sales close at 2:30pm today.

Ducks are just £1 each and every duck sold helps support Talgarth Festival.

Ready for Day Two, Talgarth?

After a fantastic Saturday, we're back for another full day of Talgarth Festival!

We've got live music from 12 noon, fantastic local food and drink, stalls, family activities and plenty happening around town throughout the day.

And then at 3pm, hundreds of highly trained yellow athletes take to the water for the legendary Talgarth Festival Duck Race.

Come down, grab some lunch, enjoy the music and find yourself a good spot for the race.

What a day, Talgarth!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today, our performers, traders, volunteers and, most importantly, all of you who came out and supported the festival despite the weather.

And we're not finished yet...

We're doing it all again tomorrow!

We've got another full day of live music, fantastic food and drink, stalls, family fun and plenty more around town.

Under cover music at the great barns!

We're really sad to say a couple of items from our Easter event seem to have gone missing.

We are looking for a squeaky chicken and two wooden & foam hammers from Splat the Rat (pic below).

The Splat the Rat game was kindly provided by a talented local who generously supports community events like ours, so it's incredibly disappointing to have to ask this.

We're hoping this is just a simple mix up and that someone wandered off with them by accident. If this is the case, no problem at all, we'd just really appreciate them being returned.

If you have them, or know where they might be, please do get in touch.
