We strongly condemn the ongoing human rights violations in Azad Kashmir and the use of direct force against Kashmiri civilians. We condemn the actions of the Pakistani Rangers, security forces, and state institutions involved in violence against peaceful citizens.

We stand in solidarity with the Overseas Kashmiri Awami Action Committee and the Jammu Kashmir Awami Action Committee, which are working for the protection and advancement of the fundamental rights of the people of Kashmir. The use of baton charges, tear gas shelling, and direct firing against people who have come out peacefully to demand their basic rights, resulting in injuries and loss of life, is unacceptable and deeply concerning.

Such actions do not reflect the principles of a humane and democratic state. We call upon the United Nations, international human rights organizations, and the global community to take notice of the situation in Kashmir, investigate reported human rights abuses, and hold those responsible accountable under international law.

The people of Kashmir have the right to peacefully demand justice, dignity, and their fundamental human rights. Their voices must be heard, and their rights must be respected.
