🌸 Thank you for our first September workshop!

What a beautiful way to begin a new month together. ❤️

Today we explored painting flowers with string — a simple creative technique with a much deeper meaning.

We talked about how we all bloom in different seasons, and how sometimes the things we want to grow in our lives need time, trust and space.

Painting with string also reminded us that we don't have to control everything. Sometimes the most beautiful things happen when we let go, trust the process, stay curious and allow ourselves to experiment. 🎨

Thank you to everyone who joined me today, created, explored and shared this experience.

It was wonderful to see your surprise as the flowers almost seemed to create themselves. 🌸

We’re so excited to welcome you back to our Female Inspirations workshops.🎨💛

Our new season starts on:

🌸 MONDAY 7 SEPTEMBER
⏰ 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Our Monday morning sessions will then continue every Monday, except Bank Holidays and school holidays.

And there’s something new this September! 🎉

We are also starting our Thursday afternoon sessions:

🌿 Thursday 17 September — 5:00 PM–7:00 PM

Our Thursday sessions will normally take place every Thursday except the last Thursday of each month, as well as Bank Holidays and school holidays.

A fantastic community event is coming up!

On 6th October, local organisations and community groups will be coming together at West Bromwich Town Hall for a special event in memory of Richard Flatley

There’ll be something for everyone-creative workshops, entertainment, food, music and lots of opportunities to meet local organisations and discover what’s happening in the community.

We will be there too! We’ll have our own creative workshop and a stall selling beautiful handmade bags. Come and have a chat, get creative and find out more about what we do.

We’ve got some exciting news!

We’re so pleased to announce that Outside The Box has been awarded £12,580 of National Lottery funding to deliver Move & Groove – our seated dance and adapted movement programme in Sandwell.

Move & Groove is all about making movement fun and accessible. No pressure. Just music, movement, and a chance to build healthy habits together.

A huge thank you to everyone who plays National Lottery games for making projects like this possible. ❤️

And a big thank you to Sport England for supporting us to get more people in our community moving.

🌙 Not free on Monday mornings? We’ve heard you!

Female Inspirations is now coming to Thursday evenings — created especially for women who work, have busy days or simply need a more convenient time to pause and do something for themselves.

Because between work, family and everyday responsibilities, it’s easy to forget that you need time and space too.

Female Inspirations is more than a creative workshop. It’s two hours to:

✨ relax and recharge
🎨 explore creative journaling
💡 learn new skills
☕ enjoy a chat and a coffee
💬 meet other women and make new connections
💗 spend time doing something just for yourself

You don’t need to be an artist, bring a friend or have any previous experience. Come exactly as you are — we’ll provide a welcoming space where you can create, connect and breathe.
