A new Diabetes UK Support group is available in Warrington for adults (18 and over) living with or affected by diabetes.

The group meets monthly on Wednesdays at the Living Well Hub, Warrington, WA1 1XL.

🗓️ Next session being held on Wednesday 3rd June 6:30pm – 7:45pm!

Meetings are free and informal, and provide an opportunity to meet others with diabetes, share experiences, and hear from guest speakers about local services.

Congratulations to our newly elected Chair of Birchwood Town Council for 2026/27, Councillor David Ellis, who was elected during the Annual Council Meeting on Tuesday 26th May 2026. We look forward to working together to serve the community of Birchwood.

Councillor Julie Brereton was elected as Vice-Chair.

⏰ Bike thief identified within 24 hrs.

Following a recent theft of pedal bike in the Oakwood area of Birchwood, speedy and effective co-ordination between partner agencies in the community resulted in the swift apprehension of the Suspect.

✅ Suspects identified.
✅ CCTV provided.
✅ Suspect apprehended.
✅ Stolen bike recovered and returned to owner.

This is Neighbourhood Policing - Strong working partnerships, communication, local knowledge, and a shared responsibility for supporting the community.
