Bexley residents are being encouraged to recycle more of their food waste with the help of a new bin sticker.

The bin stickers are a gentle reminder that food waste doesn’t belong in your general rubbish bin. Instead, please put it in your free food box —it’s collected every week and turned into energy.

If you don't already have a food waste box you can order one for free online at
www.bexley.gov.uk/food-waste

If you recycle just six teabags that creates enough energy to boil water for another cup of tea!

This Loneliness Awareness Week, we’re helping give loneliness a voice.
Loneliness can affect anyone, and small moments of connection can make a real difference, whether it’s a smile, a chat, or sharing a cup of tea.

Evergreen Care’s Elderberries Tea Rooms offer a welcoming space to meet others, enjoy refreshments, and spend time in good company. Cafés run in Wilmington, Crayford, Welling and Bexley.
