Large Pothole Causing Vehicle Damage

Residents have contacted representatives regarding a large pothole on Islandbawn Street in Mid Falls, leading onto Beechmount Avenue.

The pothole is causing concern among local residents, with reports that vehicles are being damaged as a result of motorists having to drive over it.

The issue has been reported to the Department of infrastructure

Today we remember with pride, former IRSP chairperson Dr Miriam Daly

Miriam was a founding member of the anti H-Block and Armagh committee’s, civil rights activist, Queens University Lecturer and Republican Socialist activist.

She was assassinated in her home on 26th June 1980 under the orders of the British Government.
