Sadiq Khan is shamelessly moving the goalposts on our Green Belt AGAIN.

First he said he would protect the Green Belt, then he said it only be "low quality" sites that were released, but his draft London Plan identifies high quality sites.

I called this out last week πŸŽ₯πŸ‘‡

Rainy afternoon on the Thames with the Environment Agency discussing how we prevent flooding in London.

Saw the big guns, like the barrier, and the smaller schemes built into the riverside which not only help manage the flood risk but have also helped return life to the river.

The Elizabeth line should serve Erith. The DLR should come to Belvedere. These are important transport investments that unlock homes, jobs and investment in Bexley and the wider Thames Estuary region.

That's why I want both projects added to the London Plan πŸŽ₯ πŸ‘‡

Was great to join Conservative party members in Erith & Thamesmead at their annual dinner last night.

Spoke to members about how we can:

🌱 Grow the London economy to make Greater London a more affordable place to live,
πŸ— Get London building by understanding why housebuilding has collapsed and unlocking Brownfield sites and,
πŸš” Back our police to cut crime and make London safer.

Ports like London Gateway are vital for getting goods to London quickly and more cost effectively. They are also employment hubs.

That's why I went to visit them last week and discuss how they can help grow the UK economy πŸŽ₯πŸ‘‡

We need to get London building πŸ—πŸ‘

Yet housebuilding in London has collapsed under Sadiq Khan. Councils are giving the planning permission but then nothing gets built; I pressed the Deputy Mayor for Planning on what is being done to make Brownfield sites more viable πŸŽ₯πŸ‘‡

Had a great time yesterday at the Cudham Village Fete with Councillor Jonathan Andrews and Gareth Bacon for Orpington. Love celebrating the rural communities we have in Greater London. Thank you to the volunteers who made the event such a great success.

James gets London, he gets business, and he gets the police, but more importantly he gets stuff done.

I'm delighted James has decided to throw his hat into the ring. He will be a fantastic candidate and an incredible Mayor of London!

London needs more than an administrator. It needs a champion, someone who understands its potential and is prepared to fight for its future.

I know this city. I know the job. And I know I can do it.

That’s why I’m running to be the Conservative Candidate for London Mayor.

London Gateway and the freeport are right on London's door step; creating jobs and opportunity.

It was great to visit the port yesterday to talk about how we can better transport freight, bring investment to the UK and get fresh products to supermarkets faster.

Backing our Neighbourhood Police βœ…οΈ

Last summer Bromley's police had to cover back to back weekend events at Crystal Palace Park alone. That wasn't fair on our officers or the rest of the borough.

So I got a new, fairer arrangement to support our local police officers and ensure we don't lose our neighbourhood teams each summer πŸŽ₯πŸ‘‡
