I have been out with my team all afternoon and evening delivering this update to residents in some of the areas of Anerley, Crystal Palace and Penge most impacted by the water outage, and checking-in with residents to see if there is any support they need.

Thames Water communications have been completely unacceptable. They have left people in the dark on an issue which has had such a significant impact on residents, schools and local businesses.

The last update I had from Thames Water this afternoon was that most properties have water again, but there will be water pressure issues for the next few days until early next week.

My team are working over the weekend to support any residents that need help. If you need any help, whether it’s delivery of water or you want to know if there is another update, you can email me on [email protected] and we will get back to you and do all we can to help you. I’ll continue to keep residents updated whenever I hear more too.

Bromley Council want to introduce parking charges for disabled Blue Badge holders.

It will isolate some of our most vulnerable residents.

14 years of Tory decline have left our roads in a disgraceful state

Drivers are left to pay the price in repairs & car insurance premiums

With Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander & Roads Minister Lilian Greenwood, our Government is taking action to fix our roads with record investment - including £1.5m additional funding for roads in Bromley!

I will push Bromley Council to use this funding and fix local roads in Beckenham & Penge
