🌹 Honouring Remembrance Sunday in Hazlemere 🌹

As we approach Remembrance Sunday, Hazlemere Parish Council has placed Tommy Statues around the village as a symbol of our community’s gratitude and remembrance for all those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

We invite residents to take a quiet moment when passing a statue to reflect and remember the bravery and selflessness of our Armed Forces — past and present.

“At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.”

🚧 Playground Maintenance Update – Hazlemere Recreation Ground 🚧

Please be advised that the small multi-play unit at Hazlemere Recreation Playground is currently out of use as it requires essential repair works.

A contractor will be attending the site next week, and repairs will be carried out shortly afterwards.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our playground visitors. 🌳💚

Important Notice: Unauthorized Access and Damage to Spinney Playground

We are deeply disappointed to report that over the weekend, unauthorized access occurred at our Spinney playground site, resulting in damage to the new flooring that was being laid. This is incredibly disheartening, as it affects the safety and enjoyment of our community space.

We kindly ask everyone to remain extra vigilant moving forward to help prevent any further incidents. Rest assured, the matter has been reported to the police, and we are working closely with them to resolve the situation.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping our playground a safe and welcoming place for all.

🚧 Important Notice: Spinney Playground Refurbishment 🚧

We'd like to inform our residents and community that the Spinney Playground will be temporarily closed for refurbishment works starting 18th February to 19th March 2025. 🛠️

During this time, exciting upgrades will be taking place! New, state-of-the-art playground equipment will be installed, and the entire playground will be receiving a complete makeover. 🌳✨

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to create a better play space for everyone! Stay tuned for more updates, and we can't wait to welcome you back to a revamped Spinney Playground!
