Exciting morning ahead! 💙

Tomorrow at 10:15am I’ll be joining BBC Radio Berkshire to talk about hair loss, following recent coverage of Victoria Derbyshire’s experience and promising new treatment research emerging from Japan.

Research and representation are equally important. While advances in treatment offer hope to many, visibility and understanding can make a difference right now. Hair loss affects millions of people, yet bald people remain largely absent from media, fashion and advertising.

Tune in to hear more about why both matter.

New podcast episode 🎙️

I recently joined the Alopecia Life podcast to talk about alopecia, bald representation, confidence, identity, and why visibility matters so much — especially for young people growing up rarely seeing themselves represented.

We spoke about the inspiration behind The Power of None, the reality of losing your hair as a teenager, and why “normalising difference” shouldn’t still feel revolutionary in 2026.

Also confirmed: I apparently speak with my hands even on audio-only podcasts 😭

Thank you so much to for giving me the space to share this conversation 🤍

900 signatures. NINE HUNDRED. 💜🧡

What started as an idea, a conversation, a hope for better representation has now become a growing movement of people who believe bald people deserve to be seen.

Every signature means someone stopped, listened, cared, and chose to stand with us. That matters more than you know.

The Power of None was created to push for change in media, fashion, advertising and children’s books — so that bald women, men and children can grow up seeing themselves reflected in the world around them.

900 is amazing… but we’re not done yet.

Keep sharing. Keep talking. Keep challenging outdated beauty standards. Keep making space for representation.

Next stop: 1,000 ✨

Thank you for believing in this mission. We’re only just getting started.

ONE YEAR. 🤍

Today marks my Baldiversary – one year since I shaved my head.

One year of learning that confidence isn’t found in hair, but in owning who you are without it.
One year of unlearning what I thought beauty had to look like.
One year of stepping into a version of myself I never knew I could be.

But this isn’t just personal.

This year sparked something bigger — The Power of None. A campaign built on the belief that bald isn’t something to hide, fix, or explain… it’s something that deserves to be seen.

Because representation matters.
Because little girls deserve to see themselves in books, on screens, in adverts — everywhere.
Because “different” should never mean “invisible.”

So today isn’t just about looking back — it’s about looking forward.

This is just the beginning. ✨

GUYSSS 📚✨

This month’s Book of the Month is Claire the Bear with the Barely-There Hair by Troy Powell and I’m not even kidding… this one really stayed with me 🥹💛

It’s such a gentle, comforting story about difference, confidence, and learning that you don’t need to change yourself to be accepted — and honestly, that message is so important, especially for younger readers.

Books like this MATTER. Representation matters. And seeing characters who don’t “fit the mould” just exist and be celebrated? We need so much more of that 🐻✨

Definitely one to add to your shelves, classrooms, or bedtime reads 📖

5 MYTHS ABOUT BALD WOMEN...BUSTED 💥

Think all bald women are sick? Or that they need a wig to look “normal”? Think again.

Millions of women experience hair loss, and none of these myths define us. Let’s teach kids, friends, and society that bald women are perfectly normal. ✨ 💜🧡

Ella the Enchanted Princess: Who Are You? reminds us that every child deserves to see themselves as the prince or princess in the story. Ella’s journey shows that losing your hair doesn’t mean losing who you are — and that beauty exists whether we wear wigs, headscarves, or our baldness with pride. 💜🧡👑

Big conversations, real impact ✨

I recently met with to talk about The Power of None and why appearance equality — especially bald representation — matters. What started as a deeply personal experience has grown into discussions at a policy level, and that’s something I’ll never take for granted.

Representation isn’t about trends. It’s about confidence, mental health, and feeling seen — particularly for women and young people who are so often excluded from the narrative.

Change starts with conversations, and this was an important one. Proud of how far The Power of None has come, and even more motivated to keep pushing for visibility, understanding, and change.

📣 A landmark moment for bald representation

Yesterdays ruling recognising baldness as a disability is a huge moment — not just legally, but culturally.

For so long, bald people (especially women and children) have been told our experiences are “cosmetic”, “not serious”, or something we should simply get over. This ruling challenges that idea head-on. It recognises that baldness can affect how people are treated, perceived, and included — in workplaces, schools, healthcare, and everyday life.

Disability recognition isn’t about weakness.
It’s about rights, protection, and visibility.

For many in our community, this ruling means:
• greater legal protection from discrimination
• stronger grounds to ask for reasonable adjustments
• validation that our lived experiences matter

📻 This morning, just after 10am, I’ll be speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live with Nicky Campbell about what this ruling means — not just legally, but emotionally and socially for bald people across the UK.

At The Power of None, we’ve always said this conversation is bigger than hair. It’s about how society treats difference — and who gets taken seriously.

This ruling doesn’t end the stigma overnight.
But it does move the needle.

And we’re not done yet.

✨ Bald is valid.
✨ Difference deserves dignity.
✨ Representation changes everything.
