Have you visited School Street play area in Darton yet?

Through the Love Where You Live programme, the space has been updated with repainted play equipment, repaired surfacing and the addition of new swings and a seesaw, helping keep it ready for everyday play.

It’s a great spot for families to get outside, be active and enjoy some fresh air to start the week.🌿☀️

Please help keep the park in good condition by looking after the equipment and reporting any issues or damage.

A refresh has taken place at Spring Vale play area in Pen*stone 🌿

Through the Love Where You Live programme, work has included repainting play equipment and improving surfacing, alongside a new seesaw. Updates are also taking place to the multi-use games area and youth shelter, with new markings and target games being added.

Please help keep this space clean, tidy and welcoming so everyone can enjoy it.

With the weather set to be warm this weekend, it’s a great time to get outside and enjoy your local park ☀️🌿

At Central Park in Kendray, work through the Love Where You Live programme has helped refresh the space for all ages. This includes repainted play equipment, improved surfacing, a new spinny dish, refreshed floor markings and a refurbished zip wire in the Teen Zone.

Whether you’re heading out to play, be active or just enjoy some fresh air, it’s a great place to spend time with family and friends.

If you’re out and about in Darfield, Bellbrooke Avenue play area is one worth stopping by 🌿

Through the Love Where You Live programme, the space has been updated with refreshed surfacing and repainted play equipment, along with new seating and bins. The multi-use games area has also been re-marked with target games, giving children and young people more ways to play and be active.

It’s a great place to spend some time outdoors, whether that’s getting active or simply enjoying the fresh air with family and friends ☀️

Please help look after your local park by using bins and reporting any issues or concerns – it helps keep the space welcoming for everyone.

As part of the Love Where You Live programme, the play area at Stanhope Street in Kingstone has been refreshed with repainted play equipment, improved surfacing, and the addition of new bins and swings with tiger mulch underneath, helping create a safer place for children to play.

It’s a great spot for families to take a break, get some fresh air and enjoy a bit of outdoor time together. ☀️

Please help look after your local park by using bins and reporting any issues or anti‑social behaviour – it’s everyone’s space to enjoy.

We’re working to create a Barnsley that’s welcoming and vibrant for all.
