I am delighted to introduce you to Tableworks ‘Inspirational Floristry Workshops’. At Tableworks I have been creating spectacular arrangements for corporate, charity and private events for over 15 years. Clients include The Evening Standard, Claridge’s, The RAF Benevolent Fund, The RAF Club, American Express and many more. Over that time I have had many requests to teach and undertake demonstratio

ns but this is the first time I have been able devote the necessary time to hold these sessions on a regular basis. The workshops will be held in my studio in High Barnet. These are relaxed, fun, hobby courses but carry no formal qualifications

Each one-day workshop will have a theme which will be seasonal or linked to one of the major annual celebrations such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter or Christmas. There will also be special classes in wedding flowers and flowers for remembrance. During each session we will cover three or four different projects such as a beautiful vase arrangement, a hand-tied bouquet, a round table centre and a front facing arrangement. You will be able to take home the final two arrangements you make at each session. Everything you require will be provided including flowers, foliage, scissors, candles, containers, refreshments and a light lunch (sandwiches, cheeses, fruit, yoghurts etc.). I have great pleasure announcing further dates for my ‘One Day - Inspirational Floristry Workshops’.

The workshops will be held in my studio in High Barnet (EN5 4LG).

During the day you will create four seasonal arrangements with a selection of fresh flowers and foliage: You will create a simple vase arrangement, a small hand-tied bouquet, a round table centre with church candle and, a front facing arrangement suitable for a fireplace or sideboard. You will take home the two final arrangements. Everything you need is provided including flowers, foliage, scissors, candles, containers, refreshments throughout the day and a light buffet lunch.

The workshops will start at 10.30 am and finish around 4.30 pm. The fee is £95 plus VAT at the current rate.

Schedule:

10.30 am Meet, greet, coffee and croissants
11.00 am Demonstration – simple vase arrangement
11.15 am Create a simple vase arrangement
11.30 am Demonstration – a small hand tied bouquet
12.00 Noon Create a small hand tied bouquet
12.30 am Demonstration – a round seasonal gift basket or bowl table centre with church candle
1.00 pm Lunch
1.30 pm Create a round seasonal gift basket or table centre with church candle
2.30 pm Demonstration – long and low front facing seasonal arrangement
(suitable for sideboard / fireplace / shelf)
3.00 pm Tea break
3.15 pm Create – long and low front facing seasonal arrangement
4.00 to 4.30 Finish

Covid -19 arrangements - The workshops will be limited to 6 pupils to ensure social distancing (each pupil will have a 6ft table to work on), Hand sanitizer and masks will be provided.

Tano Rea has created spectacular floral arrangements for numerous private, corporate and royal events and has worked in most of the major UK venues and many European venues. His classes are relaxed and enjoyable and you will learn a set of floristry skills which can be adapted to many different styles of floristry.

A few photographs from a lovely family wedding at Carlowrie Castle, just outside of Edinburgh last week. The bride chose sunflowers as her main flower and we added in a mix of roses, gerbera, thistles, deep purple lisianthus, trachelium, white stocks and in the larger arrangements cream snap dragons (antirrhinums). Autumn Classes will be on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of October at my Studio in Barnet EN5 4LG. The price for the day (including refreshments, light lunch and the 2 main pieces you create) is £75.

Friday 4th December & Saturday 5th December

The workshops will be held in my studio in High Barnet. These are relaxed, fun, hobby courses but carry no formal qualifications. You will however receive a certificate to say that you have attended the workshop.

During this class we will work with a selection of seasonal foliage, a range of white flowers, silver decorations, pine cones, cinnamon sticks, and white church candles. During each session we will cover four different projects; a beautiful simple vase arrangement, a hand-tied bouquet, a round table centre with a religious candle and a front facing arrangement. You will be able to take home the final two arrangements you make at the workshop.

Everything you require will be provided including flowers, foliage, twigs, scissors, candles, containers and refreshments throughout the day (including a light lunch - sandwiches, quiche, cheeses, fruit, yoghurts, Christmas pies etc.).

I have great pleasure announcing the first of the Easter / Spring Floristry Workshops.

It will take place on Saturday 14th Match at my studio in Barnet. We will work on arrangements for Spring / Easter using seasonal flowers. The fee is £75 including VAT, a light sandwich lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

We have just (Sunday 7th December) completed the final Inspirational Christmas Workshop.
It was lovely for me to have some friends and former RAFBF colleagues at the last session. We had a great fun day and the ladies created some stunning Christmas Arrangements. The next set of workshops will be announced early in the new year.
