We're thrilled to reveal that 'Tres Hombres', 'Neon Nights', 'Hot Sauce Rhythm & Brass', 'The Badgers' and 'Dirty Mynds' are the artists taking to the stage for Banbury Music Mix 2026. Join us in Market Place from 17:30 on Friday, 31st July for the town's biggest night of music.

It is a true pleasure and an honour to join you today as we celebrate an incredible milestone—40 years of Home-Start Banbury, Bicester & Chipping Norton.

Forty years is far more than a number. It represents four decades of compassion, dedication, and unwavering support for families who have needed a helping hand during some of life's most challenging moments. Throughout those years, Home-Start has been a source of hope, friendship, and encouragement, reminding parents that they are never alone.

This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the commitment of so many people—Louise Sansom (the Senior Manager) and your compassionate team: your volunteers, trustees, staff, partners, supporters, and fundraisers (Emma Ford). Your generosity of time, expertise, and kindness has made a lasting difference to countless children and families across our communities.

To every volunteer who has listened without judgement, offered practical support, or simply been there when it mattered most: thank you. Your compassion has strengthened families and changed lives in ways that often cannot be measured.

As we celebrate this special anniversary, we also look to the future with confidence. The need for organisations like Home-Start remains as important as ever, and I have no doubt that the same spirit of care and community that has carried you through the past 40 years will continue to inspire your work for many more to come.

So today, we celebrate not only an organisation but a legacy of kindness, resilience, and community spirit. We celebrate every family you've supported, every child whose future has been made brighter, and every person who has played a part in this extraordinary journey.

On behalf of everyone here, congratulations to Home-Start Banbury, Bicester & Chipping Norton on your 40th birthday. Thank you for all that you have achieved, and here's to the next chapter of your inspiring story.
