🎉 Congratulations to Gunner P! 🎉

A big shoutout to 212 (Highland) Battery’s newest member, Gunner P, who has successfully passed the Army Selection Centre assessments and was attested into the British Army at Fort Charlotte, Lerwick! 👏

Gunner P completed a rigorous two-day assessment, demonstrating skills across various tasks, including aptitude, physical fitness, and teamwork.

The next exciting step is basic training, which encompasses two main phases: Foundation Phase (which can be completed over five weekends or as a consolidated nine-day package) and a two-week residential battle camp course.

Once again, a warm welcome to the Gunner family, and a very well done on this significant achievement!

🚨Announcement🚨

🎉 Massive Congratulations to Gnr H! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Gnr H has successfully completed his Army Reserve basic training battle camp course! Over the past two weeks in Wales, he was rigorously put through his paces, culminating in a challenging exercise in the notorious Sennybridge training area.

But that's not all! Gnr H is now preparing for the Light Gun course, where he will be trained to operate the L118 Light Gun, the British Army’s only air-mobile Artillery.

Lance Bombardier Findlay from 212 (Highland) Battery, Royal Artillery is set to take on the Dundee kilt walk in support of the Marie Curie charity.

The mighty stride (20 miles), will start in St Andrews & finish in Slessor Gardens Dundee.
Not only will this Army Reservist be completing the total distance in a kilt, he will also have a weighted bergan on his back!

Balancing military commitments, civilian life, and the demands of training, this challenge reflects the determination, resilience and community spirit that defines 212 (H) Battery.
