Everyone is welcome

We have lots of exciting things planned for you this year to help make Christmas in Annfield Plain even more festive for everyone.

If you would like to be part of this well established, wonderful group of dedicated volunteers then please come and join us.

We also would like to reach out to local business’s or individual’s who would like to contribute financially to make this year’s event even more special, our volunteers are continuously fundraising but any support, however large or small, would be greatly appreciated🎄thank you.

After an amazing donation from
Annfield Plain Pharmacy to cover the cost of the defibrillator replacement pads for Catchgate. The proceeds from our coffee morning tombola and raffle,
will now be used kick start a fund raising initiative to provide first aid classes within our community.

If there are any businesses or individuals who would like to contribute to this very worthwhile important initiative, please drop me a message, any donation will be very greatly appreciated.

💚 A HUGE THANK YOU TO ANNFIELD PLAIN PHARMACY 💚

There are times when local businesses really do step forward and shine, and today we want to celebrate one of our own.

We are absolutely delighted to share that Annfield Plain Pharmacy have very generously offered to cover the FULL cost of the replacement pads needed for the Catchgate Defibrillator.

That means this vital piece of lifesaving equipment can continue to be there, ready for our community should the unthinkable ever happen.

This is more than just a donation. It is a local business choosing to invest in the safety and wellbeing of the people who live here, and we think that deserves the biggest THANK YOU from all of us. ❤️

👏 Please join us in showing Annfield Plain Pharmacy just how much we appreciate what they have done for our community. A comment, a thank you or a share of this post would be a lovely way to recognise their generosity.

Their amazing donation also means that our fundraising planned for Saturday doesn’t need to stop. Instead, it can become the beginning of something else really positive for our communities.

We will still be holding our raffle and tombola at The Partnership Coffee Morning on Saturday, but the money raised will now start a fund to help provide First Aid training within our community. ❤️‍🩹

Having a defibrillator available is incredibly important, but having local people with the confidence and basic skills to step forward in an emergency can be just as valuable.

Imagine more people across our community knowing what to do if someone collapses, knowing how to perform CPR, how to use a defibrillator, or simply how to respond in those crucial first few minutes while waiting for an ambulance.

Those skills could one day help a neighbour, a friend, a stranger or someone in our own family.

So something wonderful has happened today. Annfield Plain Pharmacy have taken care of the immediate need, and their generosity has given us the opportunity to start thinking about how we can make our community even better prepared for the future.

From all of us, and on behalf of the community this defibrillator is there to protect…

❤️ CAN YOU HELP US RAISE £160 TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITY DEFIBRILLATOR READY TO SAVE A LIFE? ❤️

The defibrillator at Catchgate needs replacement pads, and we need to raise £160 to buy them.

It might not sound like the most exciting thing to raise money for, but one day those pads could help save someone’s life. It could be a neighbour, a friend, a family member, or even one of us.

And that’s why we’re asking our community to help. ❤️

If lots of us give just a little, we can reach £160 in no time.

£1, £2, £5… whatever you can spare will all add up. No donation is too small because every single pound takes us closer to making sure that defibrillator is ready if somebody desperately needs it.

☕ This Saturday morning at The Partnership Coffee Morning at Annfield Plain Community Centre, we’ll be holding a raffle and tombola to help raise the money.

We’re hoping to raise as much as possible there, but we know we may need some extra help to get us over the £160 target.

Coffee Morning at Annfield Plain Community Centre
11.30am to 1.30pm

Please come along and enjoy some great company, some free refreshments and tasty treats.

We will also have a raffle and tombola to raise funds to supply replacement Defibrillator pads for the Catchgate Defibrillator.

We need your help to raise the funds to buy these replacements pads, so that the defibrillator can stay in the active status at the end of September and be available to the whole community if anyone needs it in an emergency, your donations could really save someones life.

Please help if you can, if you would like to donate to this very worthwhile cause and can't make it on Saturday, please drop me a message and I will pass over the details for you to be able to donate.

Every penny donated will be greatly appreciated.
