I’m working on bringing a Palestinian cultural festival to Wales, Insha’Allah. 🇵🇸

One of my hopes is to bring young Palestinian dancers from the refugee camp in Lebanon to perform traditional Palestinian dabke.

For these young people, dabke is more than a dance. It is culture, memory, identity and a connection to Palestine.

I would love to allow them to share their heritage with people in Wales.

I’m still at the early stages of planning, but I’m hoping we can make this happen. 🇵🇸❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The killing of a young Palestinian man in my refugee camp in Lebanon is deeply painful, especially if he was targeted because of his beliefs or because he was accused of apostasy. I remember him from when we were children.
This is not Islam.
God is Forgiving and Merciful. If someone turns away from religion, they should not be killed. They should be guided with wisdom, compassion and patience.
No one has the right to appoint themselves judge over another person's life in the name of religion.
The camp needs safety, not terrorism against its own people in the name of Islam.

Saudi airstrikes reportedly hit the UAE-backed Giants Brigades in Kahbub by mistake, killing and injuring members of their own supposed allies.

Nothing says “alliance” quite like bombing your own side.
When the allies need protection from each other, you know the whole project is working perfectly.

When Palestinians stand together, our voices can make a difference.
After protests and a strike by parents in Burj Al-Shamali refugee camp, UNRWA has backed down from its plan to merge the camp's schools and will maintain last year's educational arrangements.
Education is not something Palestinians should have to fight to preserve.
It is a right.
Our children deserve classrooms, teachers and a future — not another cut, another closure, or another reduction in services.

Education is not a luxury for a Palestinian. It is like the air we breathe.
It preserves our identity, our history, our memory, and our connection to our homeland.
I will never accept a reality where the coloniser enjoys the rights that belong to me, while Palestinians are denied those same rights.
Education is our right. Our future is our right. Palestine is our right.

"The people are dying of hunger. We never wished for this to happen, but we have reached the point where we find ourselves wishing for the days of Assad.

We are with you, not against you. We stood with you, so stand with us.

I swear to God, from now until next New Year, if things do not improve, the situation will reach a place that neither we nor you, President Ahmad al-Sharaa "Jolani", want.

Enough."

As for me, Assad was my enemy, but Jolani is even more of an enemy to me. I have not forgotten the crimes of the Syrian guardianship because I lived through them, and I never will.
But when the terrorist Jolani is serving the interests of the Zionist West, I will stand against him, and I will stand with Syria.
