A huge thank you to Brecon Athletic Club and everyone who took part in the Llanfrynach Road Race Series, for generously donating their pre-loved sportswear and footwear.🏃🏃‍♀️

It was fantastic to meet Annabel and Cara at our Community Kit Room in Abertillery Sports Centre and receive the donations in person. These contributions will help support individuals and families with their health, sport and fitness journey. 🤝

As the Community Kit Room relies solely on donations to remain sustainable, this support has had a huge impact on the overall aims of the initiative and will help us continue providing access to essential sporting kit for those who need it most. 👟👕

We hope everyone who took part enjoyed the races and had a fantastic experience throughout the series! 👏

Diolch yn fawr iawn i Brecon Athletic Club a phawb a gymerodd ran yng Nghyfres Ras Ffordd Llanfrynach, am roi eu dillad chwaraeon a'u hesgidiau ail-law yn hael. 🏃🏃‍♀️

Roedd yn wych cwrdd ag Annabel a Cara yn ein Hystafell Gist Gymunedol yng Nghanolfan Chwaraeon Abertyleri a derbyn y rhoddion yn bersonol. Bydd y rhoddion hyn yn helpu i gefnogi unigolion a theuluoedd gyda'u taith iechyd, chwaraeon a ffitrwydd. 🤝

Gan fod yr Ystafell Gist Gymunedol yn dibynnu'n llwyr ar roddion i aros yn gynaliadwy, mae'r gefnogaeth hon wedi cael effaith enfawr ar amcanion cyffredinol y fenter a bydd yn ein helpu i barhau i ddarparu mynediad at git chwaraeon hanfodol i'r rhai sydd ei angen fwyaf. 👕👟

Have you heard of a community kit room before?

This has been the initiative in parts of the valleys in making sports more accessible for all. Various leisure centres in the Blaenau Gwent area are putting together these rooms and they need your help!!!

With only a few days to go towards our last race in the Llanfrynach series have a look through your sports clothing and see what
you can donate. You can bring your donation to the hall on Tuesday night!

Ebbw Vale Sports Centre will be open on Bank Holiday Monday from 8am – 4pm, but Abertillery and Tredegar will both be closed for the day.
