🚨 RULES FOR THEE BUT NOT FOR ME? 🚨Have you ever tried starting a building project or home extension without waiting for local planning permission? You would have the council down on you with fines and enforcement notices in a heartbeat.Yet, when Bridgend County Borough Council wants to push through its own projects, it seems the rules simply don't apply. The council’s planning committee recently had to formally censure its own officers after they began installing a massive commercial air source heat pump system at the Bryn-y-Cae care home in Brackla before even applying for planning permission. Even worse, local residents in Cae Bracla were left completely in the dark, with consultation letters failing to arrive on time to voice valid concerns over operational noise. This is a classic case of public sector arrogance. Labour-run councils and their officials routinely lecture us on rules and regulations, yet act surprised when they are caught bypassing those exact same hurdles themselves. When I was elected to the Senedd to represent Pen-y-bont Bro Morgannwg, I promised to shine a light on local administrative double standards. Our local authorities need to start serving our communities, not acting like they are completely above the laws they impose on the rest of us.👇 Have you had a nightmare trying to deal with council planning while they bend the rules for themselves? Let me know your experiences in the comments below.

Parents deserve clarity, not uncertainty. If promises have been made, it’s only fair that families are told when they can expect them to be delivered.

First Minister Rhun ap Iorwerth and Health Minister Mabon ap Gwynfor have committed to eliminating longest two-year patient waits "within a matter of months". Plaid Cymru has been in opposition for a long time and do you think they have a plan that will actually work? Remember when the average person hears the saying “this will be done in months” they are expecting the shorter version and not another way say saying years!

One of Plaid’s flagship promises was expanding childcare provision. Critics argue that the timetable is too slow and that families are not seeing immediate benefits. So when will the parents see this coming into play? Or will they?

One in four people in Wales are disabled.
Think about that for a moment.

One in four.

Yet despite representing hundreds of thousands of people, disabled voices are too often ignored by those making decisions about their lives.

Across Wales, disabled people are telling me the same thing.
They are worried.

~ Worried about their future.
~ Worried about growing pressure on benefits.
~ Worried about assessments that feel more like interrogations than support.

For many disabled people, support is not a luxury.
It is the difference between independence and isolation.
The difference between dignity and despair.

At the same time, our social care system is buckling under the weight of years of neglect.
Families are exhausted.
Unpaid carers are reaching breaking point.
Care workers are leaving a profession they love because they feel undervalued, overstretched and underpaid.

Wales can and must do better.

Disabled people deserve more than warm words and photo opportunities.

~ They deserve to be heard.
~ They deserve respect.
~ They deserve a benefits system that supports those who genuinely need help.
~ They deserve a social care system that works.

As Reform UK’s Shadow Minister and spokesperson for Disability, Mental Health and Veterans, I will continue to raise these issues and give a voice to those who feel ignored.

The measure of any government is not how it treats the powerful, the wealthy or the well-connected.

It is how it treats the people who need help the most.

Disabled people deserve better than this.

Reform UK intends to make sure they get it.

So Plaid Cymru are out protesting about pension funds and how it’s effects Palestine (PSC)in the meantime we are putting Welsh people first. Doesn’t Plaid Cymru understand the amount of work they have to do here in Wales?
Welsh people will always come first for Reform UK Wales

When politicians promise results “in a matter of months”, people have a right to ask how many months. Clear targets and transparent timelines are essential if the public are to judge whether those promises are being delivered.

Plaid's Health Minister promised to bring waiting lists down in a matter of months.

Today, when asked how many months, he couldn't answer.

The backtracking has already begun.
