A beautiful holiday let in the Lot Valley in the South-West of France Although rural all amenities are within easy reach.

A homely stone barn conversion set in lovely grounds, away from the main house, on a peaceful smallholding. The owners live onsite with their dogs, cats, sheep and chickens and are on hand for advice and help if required. Fresh eggs and seasonal vegetables are available fresh from the garden. The cottage is bright and spacious with sitting room, dining area and modern kitchen. Double doors open on

to a private shaded south facing terrace. The sitting room has English freeview T.V, DVD player (with a small library) and a log burner for those chilly autumn evenings. Up the wooden spiral staircase is a large bedroom, with a double and single bed, and lovely views over the garden and woods beyond. There is joint use of the swimming pool with the owners (its 1.20 deep throughout) and a sunny terrace with loungers which is surrounded by a fragrant garden. The cottage is within walking distance of a famous local restaurant in the village of Pomarede and 2km away is a boulangie, epicierie, bar and pizzeria. It's a 10 minute drive to Prayssac, a town with a wonderful Friday morning market, two supermarkets and small shops selling almost everything you may need. Just a bit further is medieval Puy L'eveque, one of the prettiest towns on the river lot. The Chemin de compostelle walk passes just 250 mts from the property. Marmie cottage also offers the perfect retreat where you can find peace, tranquillity and inspiration even in the winter months. Whether its sightseeing, walking,painting, writing your book or just relaxing,Marmie summer or winter really is a 'Home from Home'.

Marmie cottage is a renovated barn in a seculeded setting in the lot vally.It is bright spacious area with open plan kitchen and sitting room with double doors opening onto a south facing terrace.The kitchen is well equipped with all that you will need,there is a tv and dvd also a woodburner for the colder times in the year at the top of spiral staircase you come to the bed room with a double and single bed there is a lovley view of the garden and woods beyond,separate bathroom
There is a swiming pool 8m by 4m and 1m20 deep throughout.It hase a very big south facing terrace with loads of pretty and fragrant garden
we live next door to the flat but do respect your privacy as you have your private terrace,we are on hand to anser any questions that you might have.
The lot vally is famous for it's beautiful villages,Cahors wine,prehistoric caves and chateaux There are also alot of outside activities ;canoeing,cycling,tenis,hang gliding
there is a small village 2 km away where you can get fresh bread in the morning,a small bar for coffee or even a glass of red wine !!!!
there are biger shops 10 mins drive away in prayssac
the lot vally is agreat place to come and chill
or get you camper van fixed!!!!!!!!!
