🐝 Apiculture dans le Syunik
Une mission de suivi de deux jours a été menée en collaboration avec le Comité international de la Croix-Rouge d’Arménie (International Committee of the Red Cross in Armenia).
🐝 Elle a permis de rencontrer 35 apiculteurs. Parmi eux, la plupart avaient déjà reçu quatre ruches lors d’une première dotation, qui avait bénéficiée à 50 personnes déplacées d'Artsakh, avec le soutien du CICR.
Tous ont participé aux formations organisées par La Forge de l'Apiculture (Մեղվաբուծության Դարբնոց Գիտակրթական Կենտրոն), leur permettant d'acquérir les connaissances essentielles à la gestion d'un rucher.
🍯 Les résultats sont particulièrement encourageants : certains bénéficiaires ont réussi à développer leur cheptel depuis la première distribution. L'un d'eux a même récolté 150 kg de miel cet été !
🐝 Ces progrès ont permis aux apiculteurs concernés de bénéficier d'une seconde attribution de colonies, toujours avec le soutien du CICR. Les équipes du CICR ont exprimé leur satisfaction face aux résultats obtenus. Au regard de ces avancées, la poursuite de cette initiative est aujourd'hui envisagée.

🐝 Beekeeping in Syunik
A two-day follow-up mission was conducted in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Armenia.
🐝 The mission involved meeting with 35 beekeepers. Most of them had already received four beehives during an initial distribution, which benefited 50 displaced persons from Artsakh, with support from the ICRC.
All of them participated in training sessions organized by La Forge de l'Apiculture (Մեղվաբուծության Դարբնոց Գիտակրթական Կենտրոն), enabling them to acquire the essential knowledge needed to manage an apiary.
🍯 The results are particularly encouraging: some beneficiaries have managed to expand their hive populations since the first distribution. One of them even harvested 150 kg of honey this summer!
🐝 This progress has enabled the beekeepers involved to receive a second allocation of colonies, again with the support of the ICRC. ICRC teams have expressed their satisfaction with the results achieved. In light of these advances, the continuation of this initiative is now being considered.
