Every day, children move through airports and aviation systems- checking in, waiting at terminals, boarding flights, and sometimes travelling on their own.
But how do we ensure they are safe, every step of the way?
š”This week in Nadi, a workshop to develop a Fiji Aviation Child Safeguarding Inter-Agency Framework bought together safety and compliance, human resource, customer service, legal and policy representatives from Air Terminal Services - Fiji PTE Ltd, Fiji Airways and Fiji Airports, to collaborate and build a shared understanding of child safeguarding risks in aviation and transit environments for all children particularly for unaccompanied minors, most at risk groups including children with disabilities.
š„Hear from a few of our facilitators, Government of Fiji Ministry partners (Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation), Fiji Airways, Fiji Airports Limited, Air Terminal Services representatives as they share more about this work.
