Kongireesiin Federalawaa Oromoo (KFO), ogeeyyi fi hojjetoota fayyaa Itoophiyaa kanneen haala hojii mijataa, kaffaltii haqaa fi argama qabeenya fayyaa ummata tajaajiluuf barbaachisu ilaalchisee gaafilee kaasan cinaa dhaabbata. Ogeeyyiin fayyaa kunniin dadhabbi fi nuffii tokko malee addadurummaan tajaajila fayyaa irratti kan hojjetan yoo ta'u, gaafileen amma dhiyeessanis rakkoolee dhuunfaa isaanii qofa furuuf osoo hin taane, sirna fayyaa lammilee miliyoonotaaf murteessaa ta'e cimsuuf akka ta'e hubatamuu qaba.

Gaaffiin ogeeyyii fayyaa komii ariifachiisoo fi seera-qabeessa ta’e irratti kan hundaa’e ta’uu hubanna. Mootummaan gaaffii isaanii sirnaan ala akka ta’e fi fedhiin siyaasaa adda duuba akka jiru fakkeessuun sochii ogeeyyii fayyaa seerummaa dhabsiisuuf carraaqqii walirraa hin cinne taasisuun isaa hedduu nu gaddisiiseera. Ilaalchi akkasii, hanqina baajaataa, hanqina galtee fayyaa fi rakkoolee iddoo hojii mijataa dhabuu dabalatee, rakkoolee sirnaawaa damee fayyaa keessa jiraniif xiyyeeffannoon akka hin kennamne taasiisa. Rakkoolee kanneen iftoominaan furuun, wal-amantaa tiksuufi ittifufiinsa tajaajila fayyaa mirkaneessuuf barbaachisaadha jennee amanna.

Mootummaan bakka bu'oota ogeeyyii fayyaa waliin iftoominaan marii gaggeessuun rakkoolee ka'aniif furmaata akka laatu gaafanna. Walitti bu'iinsi amma mul'atu bu'uuraan furuuf waliigalteefi tumsi barbaachisaa ta'uu ni amanna. Tarkaanfii sodaachisaa, adabbii fi humna caalaa, mala waloo hordofuun faayidaa hojjettootaas ta'e kan ummataa caalmatti kabachiisa. Wal-diddaan yeroo dheeraa fudhatu, kenniinsa tajaajilaafi amantaa ummataa miidhuu danda’a.

Kanarraa ka'uun KFOn mootummaan Itoophiyaa tarkaanfilee armaan gadii atattamann akka fudhatu gaafata:

1/Seerrummaa fi haqumaa gaaffii hojjetoota fayyaa hubachuufi beekkamtii kennuun, gochaa burjaajessuufi jechaan laaffisuu, hidhaa fi gochaa humnaa ogeeyyii fayyaa irratti amma gaggeeffamaa jiru irraa akka of qusatu.

2/Komiiwwan jiran furuuf bakka bu'oota hojjettoota fayyaa waliin marii hunda galeessaafi iftoomina qabu akka mijeessuu.

3/Mirga hojjettoonni seeraan gurmaa’uu fi sodaa tarkaanfii haalobahannaa fi maqaballeessi tokko malee mirga isaanitiif falmachuuf qaban kabajuu.

4/Ramaddii baajataa irraa kaasee damee fayyaatiif xiyyeeffannoo barbaachisu kennuun, baajata gahaa ramaduun, hojattoota fayyatiif kaffaltii haqummaa kaffaluu, haala hojii mijataa uumuu, raabsama galteewwan fayyaa fedhii irratti hundaaye fi sirna itti-gaafatamummaa irratti fooyya’iinsa waaraa fiduuf kutannoo qabaachuufi tattaffii gahaa gochuu qaba.

5/Damee kanaaf furmaata waaraa fi haq-qabeessaa ta'e qopheessuuf, waldaalee ogeeyyii fayyaa,hawaasa siiviliifi qaamolee dhimmi ilaallatu waliin ta'uun hojjechuu qaba.

Gaafileen mirgaa hojjetoonni fayyaa yeroo ammaa kaasan, hawwii bal'aa hawaasni keenya haqaaf, ulfinaaf, fi sirna bulchiinsa ittigaafatamummaa qabu horachuuf qabu kan calaqqisiisu. Dhimmoota kanneen walhubannoon furuun sirna fayyaa Itoophiyaa cimsuun guddina biyyaa jabeessa jennee amanna.

የኢትዮጲያ የጤና ማለሙያዎች የመብት ጥያቄዎችን አስመልክቶ ከኦሮሞ ፌዴራላዊ ኮንግረስ (ኦፌኮ) የወጣ ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫ

የኦሮሞ ፌዴራላዊ ኮንግረስ (ኦፌኮ)፣ ምቹ የሥራ ሁኔታዎችን፣ ፍትሃዊ ክፍያን እና ህዝቡን ለማገልገል የሚያስፈልጉ የሕክምና ግብዓቶችን የማግኘት ጉዳዮችን አስመልክቶ የመብት ጥያቄ ላነሱ የኢትዮጵያ የጤና ባለሙያዎች አጋርነቱን ይገልጻል፡፡ የጤና ዘርፉ ግንባር ቀደምት በመሆን ደከመኝ ሰለቸኝ ሳይሉ ህይወታቸውን ለአደጋ አጋልጠው የሚያገለግሉ እነዚህ የጤና ባለሙያዎች ያነሱዋቸው የመብት ጥያቄዎች፤የራሳቸውን ችግሮች ለመፍታት ብቻ ሳይሆን ለሚሊዮን ኢትዮጵያውያን ወሳኝ የሆነውን የጤና ሥርዓት ለማጠናከር ካላቸው ጥልቅ ፍላጎት በመነሳት እንደሆነ እንረዳለን፡፡

ኦፌኮ የጤና ባለሙያዎች ያቀረቧቸው ጥያቄዎች አስቸኳይና ህጋዊ በሆኑ ቅሬታዎች ላይ የተመሰረቱ መሆናቸውን ይገነዘባል። መንግሥት የጤና ባለሙያዎችን እንቅስቃሴና ጥያቄያቸውን ያለአግባብ ድብቅ የፖለቲካ አላማ እንዳለው በማስመሰል ህጋዊነቱን ለማጣጣል የሚያደርገው የማያቋርጥ ጥረት በእጅጉ ያሳስበናል፣ በአፋጣኝ እንዲቆምም እንጠይቃለን። እንዲህ ያሉ የተዛቡ አመለካከቶች፣ የበጀት እጥረት፣ የግብዓት እጥረት፣ የሥራ ቦታ ደህንነት ያለመጠበቅ ጉዳዮችን ጨምሮ የጤናው ዘርፍ እየገጠሙት ያሉትን ሥርዓታዊ ተግዳሮቶች ትኩረት እንዳያገኙ ሊያደርጉ ይችላሉ፡፡ የእነዚህን ተግዳሮቶች ግልጽ በሆነ መንገድ መፍታት፣ መተማመንን ለመፍጠርና የጤና አገልግሎቶችን ቀጣይነት ለማረጋገጥ ወሳኝ እንደሆነ እናምናለን፡፡

መንግሥት ከጤና ባለሙያዎች ጋር ግልጽ ውይይት በማድረግ ለችግሮቸ መፍትሄ እንዲያስገኝ እንፈልጋለን፡፡ አሁን ያለውን ውጥረት ለማርገብ የጋራ መግባባትና ትብብር እንደሚያስፈልግ እሙን ነው፡፡ ከፍረጃ፣ ከማዋከብና የሃይል እርምጃዎች ከመዉሰድ ይልቅ የትብብር አቀራረብ፣ የሠራተኞችንም ሆነ የህዝብን ጥቅም በተሻለ ሁኔታ ያስጠብቃል፡፡ የተራዘሙ አለመግባባቶች የአገልግሎት አሰጣጥንና የህዝብን መተማመን ሊጎዱ ይችላሉ፡፡

በመሆኑም ኦፌኮ የኢትዮጵያ መንግሥት የሚከተሉትን እርምጃዎችን በአፋጣኝ እንዲወስድ በአፅኖት ያሳስባል፡-

1/መንግሰት የጤና ባለሙያዎችን ጥያቄ ህጋዊነት በመገንዘብ እውቅና መስጠትና አሁን በጡና ባሉያዎች ላይ እያካሄ ያለውን የማጣጣልና የፍረጃ ንግግሮችን፤እስርና የኃይል እርምጃዎችን በአፋጣኝ ሊያቆም ይገባል፡፡

2/ቅሬታዎችን ለመፍታት ከጤና ባለሙያዎች ተወካዮች ጋር ሁሉን አቀፍና ግልጽ ውይይቶችን ማመቻቸት አለበት።

3/የሠራተኞችን የመደራጀትና ያለ ምንም የብቀላ ፍራቻ የመሟገት ህጋዊ መብቶችን ማረጋገጥ ይገባዋል፡፡

4/ለጤናው ዘርፍ ትኩረት በመስጠት በቂ በጀት በመመደብ፣ ለጤና ባለሙያዎች ፍትሃዊ ክፍያ፣ የተሻለ የሥራ ሁኔታዎችን መፍጠር፣ ፍላጎትን ያማከለ የግብዓት ሥርጭት እና የተጠያቂነት አሠራሮችን በመዘርጋት በዘርፉ ዘላቂ መሻሻሎችን ለማምጣት ቁርጠኛ አቋም በመውሰድ አስፈላጊውን ጥረት ማድግ አለበት፡፡

5/ለዘርፉ ፍትሃዊና ዘላቂ መፍትሔዎችን ለመቅረጽ ከጤና ባለሙያዎች ማህበራት፣ ከሲቪል ማህበረሰብና ከባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር በመተባበር መሥራት ይገባዋል፡፡

የጤና ባለሙያዎች ወቅታዊ ጥያቄ መላ የኢትዮጵያውያን ለፍትህ፣ ለክብርና ተጠያቂነት ለሰፈነበት አስተዳደር ያላቸውን ሰፊ ምኞት የሚያንጸባርቅ ነው። እነዚህን ጉዳዮች በጥንቃቄ መፍታት የኢትዮጵያን የጤና ሥርዓት በማጠናከር ሃገራዊ እድገትን እንደሚያጎለብት ፅኑ እምነት አለን።

ኦፌኮ በበኩሉ የዜጎች መብትና ደህንነት የሚከበርባት ሰላማዊ፣ ፍትሐዊ፣ ፌዴራላዊ ና ዲሞክራሲያዊት ኢትዮጵያን ለመገንባት ያለውን ቁርጠኝነት በድጋሜ ያረጋግጣል።

Press Statement Regarding the Demands of Ethiopian Health Workers

“Instead of labelling, imprisonment and use of force, sincere and transparent approach brings lasting solutions to the fair and legitimate demands of Ethiopian Health Workers”

The Oromo Federalist Congress (OFC) stands in solidarity with Ethiopian health workers who have raised legitimate claims regarding working conditions, fair compensation, and access to medical resources needed to serve the public. The dedicated professionals, tirelessly serving on the frontlines of healthcare, seek not only to address their own challenges, but also to strengthen a system vital to health of millions of Ethiopians.

OFC recognizes the demands of health workers that are rooted in urgent, and legitimate grievances.We are deeply troubled by the government’s persistent efforts to delegitimize the health workers’ demands by unjustly framing their demands as politically motivated. Such perceptions divert attention from systemic challenges in the healthcare sector, including funding gaps, resource shortages, and workplace safety issues. We demand such framings to halt immediately. Addressing these challenges transparently is essential to maintaining trust and ensuring the stability of healthcare services.

We require the government to engage constructively with health professionals through open dialogue. Current tensions highlight the need for mutual understanding and cooperation rather than putting fuel on flaming situation in Ethiopia. A collaborative approach, rather than harassment and punitive measures, would better serve the interests of both workers and the public at large. Prolonged disputes risk affecting service delivery and public confidence.

The OFC urges the Ethiopian government to consider the following steps as soon as possible:-
1. Acknowledge the legality and legitimacy of health workers’ demands and avoid the ongoing dismissing rhetoric, use of force and imprisonment of health professionals.
2. Facilitate inclusive and transparent discussions with health workers’ representatives to address grievances.
3. Uphold workers’ legal rights to organize and advocate without fear of reprisal.
4. Commit to sustainable improvements in healthcare funding, Working Conditions, resource distribution, and accountability mechanisms.
5. Partner with health workers’ associations, civil society and stakeholders to design equitable, long-term solutions for the sector.

The current demands of health workers mirror the broader aspirations of Ethiopians for justice, dignity, and accountable governance. Addressing these issues thoughtfully can strengthen Ethiopia’s healthcare system and foster national progress.

On its part OFC remains committed to a peaceful, federal democratic, and inclusive Ethiopia where sincere dialogue and cooperation guide progress.

"The Oromo Federalist Congress -OFC held Capacity Building Training for Youth Members and Leaders"

The Oromo Federalist Congress (OFC) successfully concluded a capacity-building training program for its youth members and leadership at its headquarters in Finfinne on April 13, 2025.

The training, titled "OFC's Political Ideology" was led by OFC’s Communication affairs, Mr. Sultan Qasim. It aimed to deepen members' understanding of Ethiopia’s current political climate and reinforce their awareness of OFC’s peaceful struggle for justice and equality. The program emphasized the need for members to critically analyze the nation’s evolving political dynamics and align with the organization’s strategic direction.

Officials highlighted the timeliness and critical importance of the training, noting that it will continue in phases under the coordination of OFC’s Chairperson, Professor Marara Gudina and executive committee. The next phases will expand the training’s scope and depth to youth members at all levels.

Participants were urged to actively apply the insights gained from the training to ensure its long-term success. The event concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening the organization’s grassroots engagement and advancing its political vision through unity and strategic action.
