A friend of mine from the community asked me, why many are focused on the release of . Machar, and if his release would help bring stability.
Below was my response to him,
The positive outlook is that once . Machar is released, many of the current tensions may begin to ease.
machar He holds significant influence within the community, and his relationship with the President could help rebuild understanding and trust.
This may lead to the withdrawal of military forces from various areas, creating space for peace and stability.
Following that, leaders from different communities can be brought together for open and inclusive dialogue to discuss what is needed to move the country forward, From there, a fresh start can take shape, with decisions on leadership and reforms made after genuinely listening to the people.
Such an approach would offer a more meaningful path to peace compared to the current situation, where violence against civilians continues while peace is still expected.

We wish to inform the public about the ceaseless aggression of the Abushok militia and the SSPDF tribal force with their desperate genocidal agenda that is being spearheaded by Gen. Kiir from Juba against the Nuer people.

At the depth of yesterday night element from the Abushok militia and the SSPDF genocidal force carried out an attack on areas of Doma Payam, Ulang county that borders Baliet county at 11:00PM local time, during the attack, the White Army responded to the enemy's assaults on civilians with overwhelming force resulting in the total defeat of the attacking forces immediately.

After the defeat of the attacking Abushok militia and their SSPDF genocidal forces, the White Army gave an odd pursuit to the enemy's forces where they followed them until the fighting reached Baliet county headquarters at 5:00AM local time.

Gangdorkiir's unit and the White Army youth engaged in fierce confrontations with the enemy's forces from their homestead of Baliet county headquarters and Riaknom, a village on the outskirts of the county headquarters.

The White Army and Gangdorkiir's unit completely dismantled the enemy's forces from those two mentioned areas, after their enormous victory, the White Army and Gangdorkiir's unit later conducted a tactical withdrawal from Baliet County headquarters after neutralising the enemy, where they inflicted enormous casualties on the enemy's side such as killing over 270 Abushok militia and the SSPDF genocidal forces and captured over 215 rifles, 52 PKMs and 17 RPG- 7 and 146 AK 47 all in good condition.

The white army command demonstrated that they have no intentions to attack Malakal though the situation on the ground remains tense and fluid.

The White Army leadership is hereby appealing to all the sections of the Nuer community to remain confident, as the defeat they inflicted on the enemy's forces is proof that they have what it takes to overrun Malakal when that time arrives.
