Truffle tourism moves forward: Trufforum drives new scientific knowledge for the sector.
Trufforum, organized by the European Mycological Institute (EMI), continues to promote training, research, and the generation of applied science for the truffle sector.
Today, at the Soria Campus of the University of Valladolid, the PhD thesis “Business Tourism: An Analysis for Competitive Development in the Black Truffle Sector” by Víctor Hernández Andrés was presented, based on the databases generated through the events and living labs of Trufforum New York and Trufforum Teruel.
This research provides valuable insights that strengthen truffle tourism, enhance the sector’s competitiveness, advance scientific knowledge on black truffles, and reinforce the cultural, culinary, and territorial values associated with this unique product.
