أشجار المنجروف 🌿
من أكثر النظم البيئية أهمية على كوكب الأرض، وهي ليست نوعًا واحدًا من الأشجار، بل مجموعة من الأشجار والشجيرات التي تعيش في المناطق الساحلية المالحة وبين البحر واليابسة.

المنجروف :- هي أشجار قادرة على النمو في المياه المالحة أو شبه المالحة، وتمتلك تكيفات فريدة تساعدها على البقاء، مثل:-
* جذور هوائية تساعدها على التنفس في التربة الطينية الفقيرة بالأكسجين.
* القدرة على التخلص من الأملاح أو تخزينها داخل الأوراق.
* بذور تبدأ في الإنبات وهي ما زالت معلقة على الشجرة (الإنبات الولودي).

أهم أنواع المنجروف في مصر
يوجد في مصر نوعان رئيسيان:-

*Avicennia marina المنجروف الرمادى
وهو الأكثر انتشارًا على ساحل البحر الأحمر.
*Rhizophora mucronata المنجروف الأحمر
يوجد في مناطق محدودة بجنوب البحر الأحمر.

تنتشر على ساحل البحر الأحمر، خاصة في:-
* محمية وادي الجمال
* محمية جبل علبة
* محمية نبق
* مناطق مثل شلاتين وأبو رماد.

أهميتها البيئية
* تحمي السواحل من التآكل والعواصف.
* تُعد حضانة طبيعية لأسماك وقشريات عديدة.
* توفر موائل للطيور المهاجرة والمقيمة.
* تحسن جودة المياه بحجز الرواسب والملوثات.
* تمتص كميات كبيرة من ثاني أكسيد الكربون، لذلك تُعد من أهم النظم البيئية في تخزين "الكربون الأزرق".

أهميتها الاقتصادية
* استخدامها في مشروعات استعادة السواحل وحماية التنوع البيولوجي.
* دعم الثروة السمكية.
* إنتاج عسل المنجروف عالي الجودة.
* تنشيط السياحة البيئية.
المنجروف هو نظام بيئي ساحلي فريد ينمو في المناطق الاستوائية وشبه الاستوائية، وتتميز أشجاره بقدرتها على تحمل الملوحة العالية والمد والجزر، مما يجعلها من أكثر النباتات تكيفًا مع الظروف القاسية.

Mangrove Trees 🌿
Among the most important ecosystems on Earth, mangroves are not just one type of tree, but a group of trees and shrubs that thrive in coastal areas and between the sea and the land.

Mangroves are trees capable of growing in salt or brackish water and possess unique adaptations that help them survive, such as:
* Aerial roots that allow them to breathe in oxygen-poor clay soils.

* The ability to remove or store salts within their leaves.

* Seeds that begin to germinate while still attached to the tree (female germination).

The most important types of mangroves in Egypt

There are two main types in Egypt:

* Avicennia marina (Grey Mangrove)
The most widespread type on the Red Sea coast.

* Rhizophora mucronata (Red Mangrove)
Found in limited areas in the southern Red Sea region.

Mangroves are found along the Red Sea coast, particularly in:

* Wadi El Gemal Protected Area
* Gebel Elba Protected Area
* Nabq Protected Area
* Areas such as Shalateen and Abu Ramad.

Their Environmental Importance:
* They protect coastlines from erosion and storms.

* They serve as a natural nursery for numerous fish and crustaceans.

* They provide habitats for migratory and resident birds.

* They improve water quality by trapping sediment and pollutants.

* They absorb large quantities of carbon dioxide, making them one of the most important ecosystems for storing "blue carbon."

Their Economic Importance:
* They are used in coastal restoration and biodiversity conservation projects.

* They support fisheries.

* They produce high-quality mangrove honey.

* They promote ecotourism.

Mangroves are a unique coastal ecosystem that grows in tropical and subtropical regions. Their trees are characterized by their ability to withstand high salinity and high tides, making them among the most adaptable plants to harsh conditions.

تحت رعاية وزيره البيئه انطلاق فاعليات الاحتفال بيوم البيئه العالمى بمحميه وادي الجمال حيث تم التنسيق مع إدارة العلاقات العامة لمنجم انجلو جولد ومجلس مدينة مرسي علم وإدارة التربية والتعليم في مرسى علم وإدارة الشؤون الاجتماعية بمرسي علم ومركز مرسي علم للتنمية الشبابيه والمجلس القومي للمرأة ولفيف من الجمعيات الأهلية ومنها جمعية الانبا كاراس وجمعيه شباب مرسي علم وجمعيه حمايه البيئه والحفاظ على التراث بالقصير وجمعيه السياحه والبيئة بمرسي علم بعمل احتفال باليوم العالمي للبيئة بشاطئ اصلايا شمال مرسي علم
شعار هذا العام الكوكب لا يجادل لا يفاوض بل يرسل إشارات

Under the patronage of the Minister of Environment, the activities commemorating World Environment Day were launched at Wadi El Gemal Protected Area. This was done in coordination with the Public Relations Department of AngloGold Mine, Marsa Alam City Council, the Marsa Alam Education Department, the Marsa Alam Social Affairs Department, the National Council for Women, and a number of NGOs, including the Anba Karas Association, the Marsa Alam Youth Association, the Quseir Environmental Protection and Heritage Preservation Association, and the Marsa Alam Tourism and Environment Association. The celebration took place at Aslaya Beach, north of Marsa Alam. This year's slogan is: "The planet doesn't argue, it doesn't negotiate, it sends signals." The program included: a speech on the importance of preserving natural resources for biodiversity; expressions of gratitude to all participants for their efforts on behalf of the Minister of Environment; a beach cleanup campaign; children's drawing activities; and an environmental cultural competition.

The Protected Area Team included: Ayman Qurbawi, Environmental Researcher; Osama El-Baily, Environmental Researcher; Mohamed Samir, Assistant; and Awad Allah Ali, Driver.
