Sakha Agricultural Research Station Considered the largest station in Egypt, and Middle East. (SARS) was established in 1960. Sakha Research station (SARS) was established in 1960.

Sakha Agricultural Research station considered the largest Agricultural Research station in Egypt, and Middle East. SARA has more than 80 departments belonging to 12 research institutes. In addition, the station has research programme belonging to Agricultural Research Centre, Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of Egypt
Sakha lies about 130 Km North of Cairo, 31 East Longitude and 31 Nor

th Latitude and 6 m above the sea level. The Winter temperature around 15-20 C, Summer Temperature 30-35 C and rainfall ranged from 70-120 mm. In addition, the station has research programme belonging to Agricultural Research Centre, Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of Egypt
