«بيان "حزب الوعي" بشأن ما ورد في تقرير صحيفة الجارديان البريطانية حول الأشقاء السودانيين في جمهورية مصر العربية»

تابع "حزب الوعي" ما نشرته صحيفة الجارديان البريطانية تحت عنوان (الفقر والعنصرية والاختفاء القسري، ولماذا يغادر لاجئو الحرب السودانيون مصر إلى أوروبا)، وما تضمنه التقرير من استنتاجات وأحكام عامة لا تعكس ولاتتفهم بصورة منصفة الواقع المعقد للأزمة السودانية ولا طبيعة الدور المصري التاريخي والإنساني تجاه الأشقاء السودانيين.
هذا، ويؤكد الحزب وبناء علي متابعة الحزب كأحد مكونات الحياة السياسية والحزبية والمجتمعية المصرية، بوضوح حجم التباين بين السردية التي قدمها التقرير وبين الواقع الذي تشهده مصر منذ اندلاع الأزمة السودانية في أبريل 2023، حيث أن أخطر ما في بعض التغطيات الإعلامية الدولية ليس الخطأ في المعلومة فحسب، وإنما بناء تصورات كاملة على أجزاء مبتورة من الحقيقة، وانتقاء نماذج فردية محدودة وتقديمها باعتبارها تعبيرا عن واقع شامل، وهو منهج يفتقد إلى التوازن المهني ويؤدي إلى إنتاج صورة ذهنية غير دقيقة عن الدول والمجتمعات.
وفي ذات الشأن، يري "حزب الوعي" ويؤمن بكامل اليقين أن مصر إختارت منذ اللحظة الأولى للأزمة السودانية أن تتعامل معها باعتبارها مسؤولية إنسانية وأخلاقية قبل أن تكون تحديا سياسيا أو اقتصاديا، وفي وقت أغلقت فيه دول كثيرة حدودها أو شددت إجراءاتها، فتحت مصر أبوابها للأشقاء السودانيين، ليس في مخيمات معزولة أو مناطق احتجاز مؤقتة، بل داخل نسيج المجتمع المصري ذاته، حيث التحق أبناؤهم بالمدارس والجامعات، واستفادوا من الخدمات الصحية، ومارسوا أنشطتهم الاقتصادية والاجتماعية بصورة طبيعية تحفظ الكرامة الإنسانية وتصون الحق في الحياة الآمنة، والتجربة المصرية في استضافة السودانيين تمثل نموذجا مختلفا يستحق الدراسة لا التشويه، فهي تجربة قامت على الاندماج لا العزل، وعلى الشراكة المجتمعية لا الإدارة الأمنية للأزمة، وعلى اعتبار الإنسان إنسانا قبل أي تصنيف قانوني أو إداري، ولذلك فإن ملايين السودانيين الذين يعيشون في مصر منذ سنوات طويلة، وقبل اندلاع الحرب الحالية بوقت كبير، لم يكونوا يوما غرباء عن المجتمع المصري، بل كانوا جزءا من حركة التعليم والعمل والاستثمار والتبادل الثقافي التي ربطت الشعبين عبر عقود ممتدة.
ويشدد "حزب الوعي" على أن مصر، رغم ما تواجهه من ضغوط اقتصادية وإقليمية متراكمة، تحملت أعباء ضخمة نيابة عن المجتمع الدولي، وقدمت خدمات تعليمية وصحية وبنية خدمية استفاد منها الوافدون السودانيون جنبا إلى جنب مع المواطنين المصريين، دون ضجيج سياسي أو حملات دعائية أو اشتراطات تمس الكرامة الإنسانية، ومن الإنصاف أن يتم تقييم هذا الجهد في سياقه الكامل، لا عبر روايات جزئية أو شهادات مجهلة المصدر يتم تعميمها على دولة وشعب بأكملهما.
وفي الوقت ذاته، يؤكد الحزب أن أي تجاوزات فردية أو ممارسات سلبية قد تقع في أي مجتمع بشري يجب التعامل معها بجدية وشفافية وفق القانون، لكن من غير المقبول القفز من حالات فردية (إن وجدت) إلى اتهام مجتمع كامل أو التشكيك في سياسات دولة استضافت الملايين ووفرت لهم ما أمكن من مقومات الحياة والاستقرار في ظروف إقليمية ودولية بالغة الصعوبة.
ويرى "حزب الوعي" أن تناول قضايا اللجوء والنزوح يتطلب قدرا أعلى من المسؤولية المهنية والإنسانية، بعيدا عن النزعات الاختزالية أو المقاربات التي تبحث عن الإثارة على حساب الحقيقة، فالمعاناة التي يعيشها الشعب السوداني الشقيق نتيجة الحرب تستحق تضامنا دوليا جادا، كما تستحق الدول المستضيفة التي تتحمل العبء الأكبر قدرا من الإنصاف والتقدير، لا محاولات التقليل من جهودها أو تجاهل تضحياتها.
(إن العلاقات المصرية السودانية ليست علاقة طارئة فرضتها ظروف النزوح، وإنما رابطة تاريخية وإنسانية وحضارية ضاربة الجذور، تجاوزت حدود الجغرافيا والسياسة لتصبح جزءًا من الوجدان المشترك للشعبين)
ومن هذا المنطلق ستظل مصر، شعبا ودولة، سندا للأشقاء السودانيين حتى تتجاوز السودان محنتها وتستعيد أمنها واستقرارها ووحدة مؤسساتها الوطنية.
ويجدد "حزب الوعي" دعوته إلى وسائل الإعلام الدولية لتحري الدقة والموضوعية والتوازن عند تناول القضايا الإنسانية الحساسة، وإلى تبني مقاربات أكثر عمقا وإنصافا تعكس الصورة الكاملة بكل أبعادها، لأن الحقيقة لا تُبنى من شهادة واحدة، ولا تُختزل في زاوية نظر واحدة، ولا يمكن أن تُدرك إلا عندما تُقرأ الوقائع كاملة لا مجتزأة.

Awareness Party Statement Regarding the Report Published by The Guardian on Sudanese Nationals in the Arab Republic of Egypt

The Awareness Party has closely followed the report published by the British newspaper The Guardian under the headline “Poverty, Racism and Enforced Disappearances: Why Sudanese War Refugees Are Leaving Egypt for Europe,” as well as the conclusions and general judgments contained therein, which neither fairly reflect nor adequately comprehend the complex realities of the Sudanese crisis or the historical and humanitarian role that Egypt has consistently played toward its Sudanese brothers and sisters.
The Party further emphasizes, based on its ongoing engagement as an active component of Egypt’s political, partisan, and societal landscape, the clear discrepancy between the narrative presented by the report and the reality witnessed in Egypt since the outbreak of the Sudanese crisis in April 2023. The most concerning aspect of certain international media coverage is not merely factual inaccuracies, but rather the construction of sweeping perceptions based on fragmented truths, and the selective presentation of isolated individual cases as representative of an entire reality. Such an approach lacks professional balance and ultimately produces distorted perceptions of nations and societies.
In this regard, the Awareness Party firmly believes that Egypt chose, from the very first moment of the Sudanese crisis, to address it as a humanitarian and moral responsibility before viewing it as a political or economic challenge. At a time when many countries closed their borders or tightened their entry procedures, Egypt opened its doors to Sudanese nationals, not by placing them in isolated camps or temporary detention facilities, but by integrating them directly into the fabric of Egyptian society. Their children enrolled in schools and universities, families gained access to healthcare services, and individuals were able to pursue their economic and social activities in a manner that preserved human dignity and safeguarded the right to a secure life.
The Egyptian experience in hosting Sudanese nationals represents a distinct model worthy of study rather than misrepresentation. It is a model founded on integration rather than isolation, on community partnership rather than securitized crisis management, and on recognizing the individual first and foremost as a human being, regardless of legal or administrative classifications. Consequently, the millions of Sudanese who have lived in Egypt for many years—long before the current conflict erupted—have never been strangers to Egyptian society. Rather, they have been an integral part of the educational, professional, investment, and cultural exchanges that have linked the two peoples for decades.
The Awareness Party further stresses that Egypt, despite facing mounting economic and regional pressures, has shouldered significant burdens on behalf of the international community. It has provided educational services, healthcare, and public infrastructure from which Sudanese arrivals have benefited alongside Egyptian citizens, without political fanfare, publicity campaigns, or conditions that compromise human dignity. Such efforts deserve to be assessed within their full context, rather than through fragmented narratives or anonymous testimonies that are generalized to characterize an entire nation and its people.
At the same time, the Party affirms that any individual misconduct or negative practices that may occur within any society should be addressed seriously, transparently, and in accordance with the law. However, it is unacceptable to extrapolate from isolated incidents—if such incidents exist—to accuse an entire society or to cast doubt on the policies of a state that has hosted millions and provided them with the means of stability and security under exceptionally difficult regional and international circumstances.
The Awareness Party believes that issues of asylum and displacement require a higher degree of professional and humanitarian responsibility, free from reductionist narratives or approaches that prioritize sensationalism over truth. The suffering endured by the Sudanese people as a result of war deserves genuine international solidarity. Likewise, host countries that bear the greatest share of the burden deserve fairness and recognition rather than attempts to diminish their efforts or overlook their sacrifices.
“Egyptian-Sudanese relations are not a temporary consequence of displacement; they are a deeply rooted historical, humanitarian, and civilizational bond that transcends geography and politics and has become part of the shared consciousness of both peoples.”
From this perspective, Egypt—both its state and its people—will continue to stand alongside its Sudanese brothers and sisters until Sudan overcomes its current ordeal and restores its security, stability, and the unity of its national institutions.
The Awareness Party renews its call upon international media outlets to exercise accuracy, objectivity, and balance when addressing sensitive humanitarian issues, and to adopt deeper and more equitable approaches that reflect the full picture in all its dimensions. Truth cannot be constructed from a single testimony, reduced to a single perspective, or fully understood through fragmented facts. It can only emerge when realities are examined in their entirety.
