A small kitten found her way to the Embassy grounds and spent the day calling for her . When she did not appear, we stepped in to help. We took care of the kitten and brought her to a veterinarian to make sure she was healthy and well.

She has already found a new , where she will want for nothing. We are certain that she will be showered with love and attention—and, quite likely, be a little spoiled as well. 🐾

Needless to say: Welcome to the Embassy 🇸🇮Team little . 🐈‍⬛

The Embassy of 🇸🇮 had the pleasure of participating in a workshop organized by FAO Algeria on bees 🐝 and the use of bee venom. During the event, experts from INRAA presented research and technologies to local , while sharing their valuable expertise and experience in the field. 🌸🌻🌺

We were also honoured to visit the INRAA premises and discover the specialized laboratory 🧪 🔬🥽dedicated to research and development.

On this occasion, the Ambassador dr.Kramberger Mendek 🇸🇮 presented Slovenia’s traditions and highlighted the importance of World Bee Day, which will be celebrated in the coming days.

Bees play a crucial role in preserving biodiversity, ensuring food security, and supporting sustainable agriculture. Their protection a shared global responsibility. 🐝

Slovenska poezija v Alžiru

V okviru EUNIC Algeria 🇪🇺 je potekalo edinstveno poetično popotovanje, na katerem smo predstavili tudi Slovenijo. 🇸🇮

V čudovitem ambientu Instituto Cervantes de Argel je g. Igor Mendek predstavil pesem Nekoga moraš imeti rad slovenskega avtorja Ivan Minatti.📖

Poezija, ki so jo predstavniki različnih evropskih držav predstavili v svojem maternem jeziku, se je prepletla z umetniško instalacijo umetnika 🇩🇿Mehdi Hachid, ki je na subtilen način izražala fragilnost.
