Today we celebrate the 251st Birthday of the United States Army and honor the Soldiers, past and present, who have defended our country with courage, commitment, and selfless service.

Since June 14, 1775, generations of Soldiers have stood ready to fight and win our Nation’s wars, preserving the freedoms we hold dear. Their legacy continues through the men and women who serve today.

Happy 251st Birthday to the United States Army. Army Strong.

A huge congratulations to LT Gregory and SSG Stevens from our Wiesbaden kennels and SSG May from our Vincenza kennel for earning the rare Navy Schützenschnur.

A special congratulations also goes to LT Gregory and SSG Stevens, who went a step further and earned the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge as well. The GAFPB challenges soldiers across multiple military and physical events, making this a demanding and respected accomplishment.

These achievements highlight not only individual dedication, but also the strong partnership we continue to build with our German allies.

Outstanding work you three, continue to lead from the front.

The Soldiers here at the 525 just can’t sit still!

Congratulations to LT Gregory, SFC Wolfle, SSG Stevens, and SPC Kristowski all from the Wiesbaden kennels for completing the Marche Internationale de Diekrich in Luxembourg. These Soldiers each completed a 14 mile ruck and LT Gregory even did it again the next day! Stay motivated!

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a solemn reminder of the cost of freedom and the sacrifice carried by service members, families, and generations of Americans who answered the call and never came home.

The Soldiers of the 525th Military Police Detachment, “Ruff Riders,” remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage, devotion, and legacy continue to guide those who serve today.

This Memorial Day, we ask everyone to take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor our fallen heroes.

Gone, but never forgotten. 🇺🇸

Congratulations to LT Gregory, SFC Wolfle, SSG Brunjes, SGT Gonzales, SPC (P) Trail, and SPC Kristowski from our Wiesbaden Kennels for earning their Schützenschnur!

The Schützenschnur or German Armed Forces Badge of Marksmanship, is a prestigious foreign military award presented by the Bundeswehr to soldiers who demonstrate proficiency with German weapons systems. Awarded in bronze, silver, and gold, the badge represents discipline, precision, and the continued partnership between U.S. and German forces.

Congratulations to our Kennel Master, SFC Wolfle, and his wife on successfully completing the Norwegian Foot March!

This challenging event tests endurance, discipline, and mental toughness, requiring participants to complete a demanding foot march of 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) under 4 hours and 35 minutes while carrying a weighted ruck of 11kg (24lbs). His successful completion is a reflection of hard work, resilience, and the standard of excellence he continues to set both in and out of uniform.

Outstanding job representing the Ruff Riders and leading from the front!

Congratulations to SPC (P) Bentle from our Vicenza kennel for graduating Basic Leader Course today on the Commandant’s List by maintaining a top 20% grade point average of all students! Doesn’t matter if it’s from Germany or Italy, the 525th always wins!
