🇺🇸 Patriot Day Remembrance ❤️🤍💙

Today, our Mighty Griffins came together as a school community to honor and remember September 11th. Students and staff showed their patriotism by wearing red, white, and blue and joined together to proudly sing the National Anthem. 🇺🇸

It was a special moment of remembrance, unity, and pride for our entire school community.

We remember. We honor. We stand together. ❤️🤍💙

A huge THANK YOU to all of our Mighty Griffin families who joined us for Open House last night! 🎉

It was wonderful seeing so many families in our school, visiting classrooms, meeting teachers, and getting a glimpse into all the amazing learning happening each day. 📚✏️

We truly appreciate your time, support, and partnership. A successful school year takes a whole community, and we are so grateful to have such an amazing one! 💙💛

It's that time again... jog-a-thon! If you're new to the school, we do a jog-a-thon each fall. It is our biggest and most successful fundraiser. We are able to have an event like this thanks to many of you! Here's how to get started:

- Go to https://app.99pledges.com/fund/SES26

- Enter your child's first name and last initial in the search box to find their individual page.

- Send out your specific link to family and friends! Our goal is to have each child raise $25.

We have individual and school-wide incentives for running and raising funds.

The jog-a-thon will be on Wednesday, September 23rd during school hours. Each grade level has a time slot to run laps around the track. We will need volunteers to help mark laps for each child as they run. Students will run for around 20 minutes. After they complete their laps, they will tie dye shirts. We will also need volunteers to help with the tie-dye station.

Please make sure your children wear comfy clothes that you don't mind if they accidentally get stained. We will have labeled bags for their shirts to go home to be rinsed and washed. We will send out wash directions closer to the event.

Please also keep a lookout for a link coming soon to help volunteer. The event ran so well last year thanks to the small army of volunteers we had, so we definitely need your help again this year! As always, please reach out with any questions. While we hope to raise enough funds to keep the PTA running for another year, we also just want to have a fun day at school. We can't wait to do this with you all!
