Cops for K.O.P.S. Charity Hockey Game

Cops for K.O.P.S. Charity Hockey Game Charitable Organization raising funds to support the families of PA fallen law enforcement officers. Cops for K.O.P.S. It's a sell-out every year!

is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The purpose of this event is to raise funds to support the families—especially the children—of Pennsylvania police officers killed in the line of duty. Your generosity helps provide assistance for their educational, physical, social and psychological needs, ensuring they have the support and opportunities they deserve. Teams of active duty, and ret

ired law enforcement officers across PA including the PSP, Philadelphia Police, Pittsburgh Police Dept, local municipal police officers along with member of the NYPD face off in this annual charity ice hockey game. We end the evening with an After Party at the Hershey Italian Lodge to honor our heroes and show support and camaraderie. Each year on the 3rd Friday of September, we host our Annual Cops for KOPS Ofc Mike Henry Jr Golf Tournament. Teams of four tee off in a day filled with fun, games, prizes and awards honoring our fallen. These two events fund our mission of making sure no family stands alone when they have lost their loved one in the line of duty. It is an unfortunate reality that events such as this are needed every year. One can only hope that an event like this can help the families in some small way and ensure that each child knows their loved one is a hero to so many. This charity is funded by the generous supporters of law enforcement. To donate anytime, please visit: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/donate-now-82

There are no words that can adequately express the sorrow felt when a law enforcement officer is taken far too soon.

Today, our hearts are with Officer Kristen Yeager's husband, children, family, friends, and every member of the Central Berks Regional Police Department as they face an unimaginable loss.

Officer Yeager answered the call to serve others, and in doing so became part of a family that extends far beyond the walls of her department. Across Pennsylvania, law enforcement families are mourning alongside those who knew and loved her most.
While we often see the badge, behind it is a mother, a wife, a daughter, a friend, and a life that touched countless others, leaving an immeasurable void.

Please join us in keeping Officer Yeager's loved ones, her department, and all those grieving this tragedy in your thoughts and prayers in the difficult days ahead.

✝️Rest easy, Officer Yeager. Your watch is ended, but your service and sacrifice will NEVER be forgotten. 💙

During National National Police Week, we pause to honor the men and women who put on the badge and step into uncertainty so the rest of us can live in safety.

We remember with deep gratitude the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage will never be forgotten, and their legacy lives on in the families, friends, and communities who continue to carry their memory forward. We promise to never forget you.

At Cops for K.O.P.S. Charity, we stand beside the families of our fallen heroes, offering support, remembrance, and the reassurance that they are never alone. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

To all who serve, and to the families who stand behind them, thank you for your sacrifice, your courage, and your unwavering dedication. 💙

You won’t see this kind of story on the news very often, but it speaks volumes about the kind of people who wear the badge.

A powerful reminder of the character of those who wear the uniform. When others need help, they step forward; without thought, without hesitation. That instinct never turns off.

Respect. 💙

HERO IN BLUE: NYPD Chief Aaron Edwards jumps barricades outside Gracie Mansion after an IED is thrown into an anti-Islam protest, tackling a terror suspect.

Police say he charged in as another device was about to be hurled, stopping the attack as he ran straight into danger.

Edwards is an NYPD veteran with nearly 23 years of service who joined the force in 2003 after being inspired to serve by the heroism of first responders during the September 11th attacks.

Today we pause to honor Cpl. Timothy O’Connor Jr. of the Pennsylvania State Police.

A life of service.
A sacrifice that will never be forgotten.
A hero not because of how he died, but how he lived his life.

May we surround his family and his brothers and sisters in blue with strength, prayer, and support.

Rest easy, Trooper. 💙
