Today is the last day to register for spring sports at Masconomet. Families considering signing up an eighth grader should be aware of MIAA rules that limit which teams middle school students can join and participation requirements once they are on a high school team. Our hearts are with the families of Topsfield and all those with loved ones actively serving in the military. We see the quiet strength it takes to support those who serve, and we are deeply grateful for your sacrifices.

As the daughter of a World War II Navy veteran, I know service carries lifelong effects for both those who serve and the families who stand beside them. We also hold our veterans close in our thoughts, especially during uncertain times. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

Topsfield resident Jamie Belsito is running for Congress! 🇺🇸
Join her at Zumi’s on Monday at 6:30 pm for a meet-and-greet and let her know which issues matter most to you.

Notably, no Topsfield resident has ever served in the modern-day U.S. Congress.

The last person to represent Topsfield in a congressional-style body was Samuel Smith Jr., who served as a delegate from Topsfield around 1774–1775 in the Massachusetts Provincial Congress, a revolutionary assembly that helped form Massachusetts governing body, free from the crown, in the years leading up to the American Revolution.

Jamie previously served our community as State Representative and is currently Topsfield’s Town Moderator.

Good luck, Jamie! We know you will represent Topsfield well.
