An exciting appointment in front of the Reichstags building: At the invitation of the ADAC air rescue, I was able to experience a rescue helicopter up close.

Air rescue has been an essential part of our emergency response for decades. She makes sure patients are treated quickly and professionally - often in situations where every minute counts.

Particularly impressive was the exchange with the crew on site, who save lives on a daily basis. For that, I express my gratitude and respect to them.

Today together with Berlin's traffic senator Ute Bonde as a guest at Federal Transport Minister Patrick Schnieder.

We discussed three important topics with him:

✅ Extension of the U7 subway line to BER airport and federal transport opportunities

✅ Improving connectivity with international long-distance flights at BER Airport

✅ Highway construction at the West entrance and traffic accessibility of the ICC Berlin in the wake of the planned reopening after a successful competition procedure.
