Since 2014, the Global Biodiversity Conservation Conference has brought together academics, policymakers, conservationists, and key stakeholders to tackle pressing issues in biodiversity research and practice. Originally initiated by the Zoo Liberec, příspěvková organizace, Česká zemědělská univerzita v Praze (Czech University of Life Sciences Prague), and the Czech Coalition for Biodiversity Conservation (CCBC), this year’s conference will be held for the second time in the Philippines, for the first time in Mindanao.
In partnership with the Philippine Eagle Foundation and the University of the Philippines Mindanao, the 2025 conference will center on the theme:
🔍 “Translating Research into Policy and Practice for Biodiversity Conservation—From Ridge to Reef.”
We invite both professional and student researchers to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations under a wide range of biodiversity and conservation topics.
