On August 31, 2026, H.E. Dr. Sherif Shehata, Ambassador of Egypt to Cuba (Non-Resident Ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines), paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Ms. Angella Jackson, Ambassador of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to Cuba.

During the cordial meeting, both sides reaffirmed their Governments’ interest in strengthening bilateral relations. They also discussed preparations for the upcoming official visit of Ambassador Shehata to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, in his capacity as Non-Resident Ambassador to the Caribbean country.

في 31 أغسطس 2026، قام سعادة الدكتور شريف شحاتة، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى كوبا (والسفير غير المقيم لدى سانت فنسنت والغرينادين)، بزيارة مجاملة إلى سعادة السيدة أنجيلا جاكسون، سفيرة سانت فنسنت والغرينادين لدى كوبا.

وخلال اللقاء الودي، أكد الجانبان مجدداً اهتمام حكومتيهما بتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية. كما ناقشا الاستعدادات للزيارة الرسمية المرتقبة للسفير شحاتة إلى سانت فنسنت والغرينادين، بصفته سفيراً غير مقيم لدى الدولة الكاريبية.

The visit of H.E. Dr. Sherif Shehata, Ambassador of Egypt to Cuba, to the province of Sancti Spíritus received extensive coverage from numerous local media outlets, Cuban national television and radio, as well as social media platforms.

H.E. Dr. Sherif Shehata, Ambassador of Egypt to Cuba, continued his working agenda in the province of Sancti Spíritus with a meeting with the provincial tourism authorities, who presented the province’s main potential in this important field.

The exchanges held during the visit provided an opportunity to share experiences, identify areas of common interest and promote new avenues for cooperation, contributing to the strengthening of the bonds of friendship between Egypt and Cuba. 🇪🇬🇨🇺

As part of his official visit to the province of Sancti Spíritus, H.E. Dr. Sherif Shehata, Ambassador of Egypt to Cuba, visited the city of Trinidad, where he held a meeting with Tania Gutierrez, President of the Municipal Assembly, with the participation of other local officials.
During the visit, the Ambassador had the opportunity to further discover the city’s history, heritage and main economic activities, as well as the prospects of cooperation in areas such as tourism, culture and agriculture.
The occasion also provided an opportunity to reaffirmim Egypt’s commitment to continue supporting Cuba. 🇪🇬🇨🇺

في إطار زيارته الرسمية إلى محافظة سانكتي سبيريتوس، قام الدكتور شريف شحاتة، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى كوبا، بزيارة مدينة ترينيداد، حيث عقد لقاءً مع السيدة تانيا جوتييريز، رئيسة مجلس المدينة، بمشاركة عدد من المسئولين المعنيين بالمجلس.

وخلال الزيارة، تم استعراض تاريخ المدينة وتراثها وأبرز أنشطتها الاقتصادية، إلى جانب بحث آفاق التعاون في مجالات مثل السياحة والثقافة والزراعة.

كما شكلت المناسبة فرصة لتأكيد التزام مصر بمواصلة دعم كوبا. 🇪🇬🇨🇺

Dr. Sherif Reda, Ambassador of Egypt to Cuba, recently visited the province of Sancti Spíritus.

His Excellency was received by Dr. Alexis Lorente, Honorable Governor of the province, where they discussed the excellent friendly ties between both countries while laying the groundwork to identify new avenues of cooperation.

The visit was an opportunity to demonstrate Egypt's continued support for the people of Cuba. 🇨🇺🇪🇬

زار الدكتور شريف رضا، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى كوبا، مؤخرًا محافظة سانكتي سبيريتوس.

To conclude his official visit to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, H.E. Dr. Sherif Shehata, Ambassador of Egypt, met with The Hon. Glenys Margaret Elaine Hanna Martin, M.P., Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on enhancing cooperation in the tourism sector, as well as promoting cultural exchange contacts between both countries. 🤝
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and exploring mutually beneficial initiatives in areas of shared interest.

وفي ختام زيارته الرسمية إلى كومنولث جزر البهاما، التقى سعادة الدكتور شريف شحاتة، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية، مع معالي السيدة جلينيس مارغريت إيلين هانا مارتن، عضو البرلمان، رئيسة الوزراء بالإنابة ووزيرة السياحة.

As part of his official visit to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, H.E. Dr. Sherif Shehata, Ambassador of Egypt, delivered an interactive lecture on Egyptian diplomacy and foreign policy at the Headquarters of the Bahamian Foreign Ministry.
The session was held with the participation of newly appointed Bahamian diplomats, in the presence of H.E. Ambassador Ron Pinder, Ambassador-at-Large.
The lecture provided a valuable platform for exchanging perspectives on Egypt’s foreign policy priorities and diplomatic practice, while fostering dialogue and strengthening professional ties between both sides.

في إطار زيارته الرسمية إلى كومنولث جزر البهاما، ألقى سعادة الدكتور شريف شحاتة، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية، محاضرة تفاعلية حول الدبلوماسية المصرية والسياسة الخارجية، وذلك بمقر وزارة الخارجية البهامية.

وقد عُقدت الجلسة بمشاركة دبلوماسيين بهاميين جدد التعيين، وبحضور سعادة السفير رون بيندر، سفير فوق العادة (Ambassador-at-Large).

وقد أتاحت المحاضرة منصة قيّمة لتبادل الرؤى حول أولويات السياسة الخارجية المصرية والممارسة الدبلوماسية، مع تعزيز الحوار وتوطيد العلاقات المهنية بين الجانبين.
