The Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) will conduct a Contractors/Suppliers’ Forum to guide participants in the proper preparation of bidding documents.

The forum will cover:
• Accurate completion of required forms
• Proper preparation of legal documents
• Compliance with the New Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 12009
• Other procurement-related requirements from agencies such as DOLE, DTI, and others

In line with strengthening procurement governance and ensuring compliance with Republic Act No.12009 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) convened to deliberate on key procurement-related matters essential to the effective implementation of infrastructure projects and institutional functions.

The agenda included the Presentation of BAC Resolution No. 2 entitled “Creating the Bids and Awards Committee Technical Working Group (BAC-TWG)” and followed by a discussion on the recommended new set of BAC Observers to ensure transparency, accountability and adherence to procurement laws and regulations.

Procurement-related matters were also discussed in coordination with the Provincial Accountant and the Committee deliberated on and declared the Single Calculated and Responsive Bid (SCRB) for the project titled “Construction of Road Leading to PS74 Vessel (Ex-BRP Rizal), Wilson, San Jose, Dinagat Islands, Reference No. INFRA 2026-16" in accordance with established procurement procedures.
