We attended the Ceremonial Turnover of Monobloc Chairs and Tables at the Speaker Pro Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Convention Center (FOCC) on June 1, 2026.

The monobloc chairs and tables are distributed to the different barangays and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) within the Province of La Union. The importance of this initiative lies in providing communities and the BJMP with the basic resources needed for gatherings, programs, and official activities, ensuring that every recipient is well-equipped to carry out their functions and serve with efficiency.

The 209th La Union Medical Center BOT Meeting tackled key institutional matters including the approval of supplemental budgets, filling of vacant positions, renewal and appointment of COS and casual employees, authorization of MOAs and official documents, fund augmentation for medical equipment, payment of terminal leave benefits, and the presentation of LUMC's Financial and Performance Report.

Serving as a BOT member and Chairperson of the Committee on Finance, Budget, and Appropriations means being directly responsible for the financial decisions that keep LUMC running and serving the people of La Union. Every peso deliberated is a step toward better and more sustainable public healthcare.

Dumalo tayo sa mahalagang okasyon ng distribusyon ng tulong pinansyal para sa Brigada Eskwela na naglalayong suportahan at palakasin ang mga pampublikong paaralan, mula elementarya hanggang sekondarya, kasama na rin ang Alternative Learning System o ALS sa buong probinsya ng La Union.

Ang tulong pinansyal na ito ay isang patunay ng walang sawang dedikasyon ng ating pamahalaan sa pagbibigay ng kalidad na edukasyon at maayos na kapaligiran sa pag-aaral para sa bawat mag-aaral. We attended the First Full Regular Provincial Development Council Meeting at Speaker Pro Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Convention Center last May 26, 2026, bringing together key stakeholders and responsible persons to tackle crucial agenda items for the Province of La Union.

Among the highlights of today's meeting include the Presentation of Proposed Beneficiary Facilities under the Universal Health Care Project of DOH, the CY 2027 Annual Investment Program of the Province of La Union, the CY 2026 Supplemental Annual Investment Program No. 3, the Amendment to CY 2026 Supplemental Annual Investment Program No. 1, the Revised IRR of the Provincial Development Council, and the Presentation of the IPARC Project of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).

Together, we move forward in shaping a better and more progressive La Union for all!
