The ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA), which comprise China, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, is the world's third-largest free trade zone, the most populous free trade area, but also among developing countries, the largest free trade zone. In accordance with the 'China - ASEAN Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Cooperation' time frame, January 1, 2010, ACFTA officially launched, marking this piece from the China and the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations, close to 6 trillion gross national product, 4.5 trillion trade volume of the region, started to enter the era of zero tariff.
