উচ্চপর্যায়ের বৈঠক ও স্বাস্থ্য খাতে সহযোগিতার মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশ-চীন সম্পর্ক জোরদার:

বাংলাদেশের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস চীনের ইউননান প্রদেশের গভর্নর ওয়াং ইউবোর সঙ্গে এক উচ্চপর্যায়ের বৈঠকে চীনের সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক আরও গভীর করার প্রতিশ্রুতি পুনর্ব্যক্ত করেছেন। আলোচনার প্রধান ক্ষেত্রগুলো ছিল—স্বাস্থ্য, শিক্ষা, বাণিজ্য, প্রশিক্ষণ, যুব বিনিময় এবং চিকিৎসা পর্যটন। চীনের আতিথেয়তার জন্য কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে ড. ইউনূস পাট রপ্তানি ও রেল ইঞ্জিন খাতে চীনা বিনিয়োগ বৃদ্ধির প্রস্তাব দেন।

গভর্নর ওয়াং ইউননানকে দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার জন্য চীনের প্রবেশদ্বার হিসেবে উল্লেখ করেন এবং জানান, ইউননানে একটি ব্যাংক ইতোমধ্যে ইউনূসের প্রবর্তিত ক্ষুদ্রঋণ মডেল গ্রহণ করেছে এবং সুফল পাচ্ছে। আলোচনায় স্বাস্থ্য খাতে সহযোগিতাকে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়, যার মধ্যে কুনমিংয়ের চারটি হাসপাতাল বাংলাদেশি রোগীদের জন্য নির্ধারণ এবং যৌথভাবে রোগ প্রতিরোধ কার্যক্রম পরিচালনার আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করা হয়।

ঢাকায় নিযুক্ত চীনা রাষ্ট্রদূত ইয়াও ওয়েন জানান, ২০০-রও বেশি চীনা বিনিয়োগকারী বাংলাদেশে আসছেন এবং একটি বড় বিনিয়োগ সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। চীন চিকিৎসা সেবার প্রবেশগম্যতা বৃদ্ধির প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছে এবং বাংলাদেশি রোগীদের জন্য ভিসা সুবিধাসহ সর্বোত্তম সেবা নিশ্চিত করার আশ্বাস দিয়েছে।

উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে, একটি চীনা চিকিৎসক দল অস্ত্রোপচার ছাড়াই পাঁচজন বাংলাদেশি শিশুর হৃদরোগের চিকিৎসা সম্পন্ন করেছে, সম্পূর্ণ বিনা খরচে। ইউননানভিত্তিক কয়েকটি প্রতিষ্ঠানের সঙ্গে বাংলাদেশের স্বাস্থ্য খাতের প্রতিষ্ঠানের মধ্যে সমঝোতা স্মারক স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি, চীনের সহায়তায় বাংলাদেশে ১,০০০ শয্যাবিশিষ্ট একটি বিশেষায়িত হাসপাতাল এবং ঢাকার ধামরাইতে ১০০ শয্যার একটি পুনর্বাসন হাসপাতাল নির্মাণের পরিকল্পনা নেওয়া হয়েছে।

বন্ধুত্বের প্রতীক হিসেবে ড. ইউনূস চীনের প্রেসিডেন্ট সি চিনপিংকে এক ঝুড়ি তাজা আম পাঠানোর আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করেন।

Bangladesh-China Relations Strengthened through High-Level Engagements and Healthcare Cooperation:

Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, reaffirmed the country’s commitment to deepening ties with China during a high-level meeting with Wang Yubo, Governor of Yunnan Province. Key areas of collaboration include health, education, trade, training, youth exchange, and medical tourism. Dr. Yunus also expressed gratitude for China’s hospitality and proposed expanding jute exports and locomotive investments.

Governor Wang highlighted Yunnan’s role as China’s gateway to South Asia and mentioned a Yunnan-based bank benefiting from Yunus’s microcredit model. Discussions emphasised healthcare collaboration, including four Kunming hospitals designated for Bangladeshi patients and interest in joint disease prevention efforts.

Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen announced that over 200 Chinese investors are set to visit Bangladesh, and a major investment summit is planned. China also pledged to improve medical access, provide visa support, and deliver the best services to Bangladeshi patients visiting Yunnan.

Notably, a Chinese medical team treated five Bangladeshi children with congenital heart defects using non-surgical methods free of cost. MoUs were signed between Yunnan institutions and Bangladeshi healthcare organisations, and plans were unveiled to build a 1,000-bed specialised hospital and a 100-bed rehabilitation hospital in Bangladesh with Chinese support.

As a symbolic gesture of friendship, Dr. Yunus intended to send fresh mangoes to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

On behalf of the people of Bangladesh and as a well-wisher of the ever-deepening Bangladesh-China friendship, We would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations and sincere appreciation to the People’s Republic of China for arranging such a magnificent and mesmerizing drone show in Dhaka as part of the celebration of our traditional New Year—Pohela Boishakh.

The drone display was a stunning demonstration of modern technology, artistic brilliance, and a meaningful symbol of cultural solidarity between our two nations. It brought immense joy and wonder to the people gathered and beautifully showcased how shared celebrations can strengthen mutual respect and cooperation.

We deeply value China’s gesture of goodwill and cultural appreciation. Events like these reaffirm our countries' strong and time-tested friendship and open new avenues for future collaboration in artistic and technological spheres.

On this auspicious occasion of Pohela Boishakh, we, the friends and partners from the Bangladesh-China Silk Road, extend our warmest greetings to the people of Bangladesh.

Today, as the streets of Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Khulna, and every village and town bloom with the colors of the Bengali New Year, we join you in spirit to celebrate a heritage rich in culture, harmony, and hope.

Pohela Boishakh is not just a new beginning—it is a celebration of life, unity, and identity. It reflects the strength of the Bangladeshi people and their commitment to progress while honoring their deep cultural roots.

Pohela Boishakh—the Bengali New Year—is a vibrant cultural festival celebrated on the first day of Boishakh, the first month of the Bengali calendar. This ancient festival has its roots in the agrarian society of Bengal, dating back to the Mughal era when Emperor Akbar reformed the tax calendar to coincide with the harvest cycle. Farmers would celebrate the closing of the old accounting year and begin a new one by paying taxes and greeting landlords with sweets and festivities.

Over time, Pohela Boishakh transformed into a celebration of Bengali culture, identity, and unity. In Bangladesh, it is observed with colorful processions, traditional music, fairs, and delicious food. The “Borsho Boron Anondo Shobhajatra” organized by the students of Dhaka University has been recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. It reflects the secular, inclusive spirit of the Bengali nation, uniting people across all backgrounds. Today, Pohela Boishakh stands as a powerful symbol of resilience, creativity, and cultural pride for the people of Bangladesh.

As trusted partners on the journey of development, connectivity, and friendship, we feel honored to witness the dynamism of Bangladesh’s people and their unwavering spirit. এই পবিত্র পহেলা বৈশাখের শুভ দিনে, আমরা বাংলাদেশ-চীন সিল্ক রোডের বন্ধু ও অংশীদারগণ, বাংলাদেশের সকল জনগণকে জানাই হৃদয় থেকে আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন।

আজ যখন ঢাকা, চট্টগ্রাম, রাজশাহী, সিলেট, খুলনা এবং বাংলাদেশের প্রতিটি গ্রাম ও শহর বৈশাখের রঙে রঙিন হয়ে উঠেছে, আমরা আপনাদের সঙ্গে হৃদয়ে মিলিত হয়ে উদযাপন করছি এক ঐতিহ্যের, যে ঐতিহ্য সমৃদ্ধ সংস্কৃতি, সম্প্রীতি এবং আশায় পূর্ণ।

পহেলা বৈশাখ—বাংলা নববর্ষ—বাংলা ক্যালেন্ডারের প্রথম মাস বৈশাখের প্রথম দিনে উদযাপিত একটি বর্ণাঢ্য সাংস্কৃতিক উৎসব। এই প্রাচীন উৎসবের শিকড় গ্রামবাংলার কৃষিভিত্তিক সমাজে, যার সূচনা হয় মুঘল সম্রাট আকবরের আমলে। তিনি ফসলি সন প্রবর্তন করেন যাতে কৃষকদের জন্য খাজনা প্রদান সহজ হয়। কৃষকরা পুরনো হিসাব-নিকাশ শেষ করে নতুন বছরের সূচনা করতেন খাজনা পরিশোধ এবং মিষ্টিমুখ দিয়ে।

সময়ের পরিক্রমায়, পহেলা বৈশাখ হয়ে উঠেছে বাঙালির সংস্কৃতি, পরিচয় ও ঐক্যের এক উজ্জ্বল উৎসব। বাংলাদেশে দিনটি পালিত হয় বর্ণাঢ্য শোভাযাত্রা, লোকসঙ্গীত, মেলা এবং ঐতিহ্যবাহী খাবারের মাধ্যমে। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের আয়োজিত “বর্ষবরণ আনন্দ শোভাযাত্রা” ইউনেস্কো কর্তৃক মানবতার অমূল্য সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি পেয়েছে। এটি বাঙালি জাতির ধর্মনিরপেক্ষ ও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক চেতনাকে তুলে ধরে, যা সকল শ্রেণি-পেশার মানুষকে একত্র করে।

আজ, পহেলা বৈশাখ হয়ে উঠেছে বাংলাদেশিদের দৃঢ়তা, সৃজনশীলতা এবং সাংস্কৃতিক গর্বের এক অনন্য প্রতীক।

উন্নয়ন, সংযোগ এবং বন্ধুত্বের যাত্রায় আমরা গর্বিত অংশীদার। বাংলাদেশের মানুষের উদ্যম ও অদম্য চেতনার সাক্ষী হতে পেরে আমরা গর্বিত। বাংলাদেশ-চীন সিল্ক রোডের বন্ধুত্ব আমাদের বিশ্বাস—যে আমরা পারস্পরিক শ্রদ্ধা, অর্থনৈতিক সমৃদ্ধি এবং সাংস্কৃতিক বিনিময়ের এক শক্তিশালী সেতুবন্ধন তৈরি করতে পারি যা উভয় জাতির জন্য কল্যাণ বয়ে আনবে।

Drone Show on Pohela Boishakh: Chinese Technology Team in Dhaka, Preparations Underway:

A Chinese drone team is visiting Bangladesh to perform a spectacular drone light show for the Pohela Boishakh (Bengali New Year) celebrations. To celebrate this year’s Bengali New Year with the theme “New Year, New Bangladesh,” a spectacular drone show and concert are being organized in Dhaka's capital.

Preparations for this event are in full swing. This event commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Bangladesh.
The drone show will take place on April 14, the day of Pohela Boishakh, at Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka. It will feature hundreds of synchronized drones that illuminated the night sky with intricate patterns and animations.

The performance will showcase symbols of Bangladeshi culture, such as the traditional “Mangal Shobhajatra” procession and Chinese cultural elements, reflecting the deepening ties between the two nations. This collaborative event is the part of a broader cultural exchange initiative to strengthen the friendship between China and Bangladesh.

This information was shared by Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki in a post on his verified page on Friday. He wrote that a Chinese technology team has arrived in Dhaka, and the preparation work is progressing rapidly. Addressing the people of Dhaka, he said:
“Hello Dhaka, get ready to enjoy an extraordinary drone show under the theme — ‘New Year, New Bangladesh’!”

বাংলা নববর্ষ (পহেলা বৈশাখ) উদযাপন উপলক্ষে বাংলাদেশে আসছে চীনা ড্রোন দল, যারা একটি অসাধারণ ড্রোন লাইট শো উপস্থাপন করবে। “নতুন বছর, নতুন বাংলাদেশ” এই প্রতিপাদ্য নিয়ে রাজধানী ঢাকায় এই বছর পহেলা বৈশাখ উদযাপনের অংশ হিসেবে ড্রোন শো এবং কনসার্টের আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। এই উপলক্ষে প্রস্তুতি চলছে পুরোদমে। পাশাপাশি এটি বাংলাদেশ-চীন কূটনৈতিক সম্পর্কের ৫০ বছর পূর্তিকে স্মরণ করেও উদযাপন করা হচ্ছে।

পহেলা বৈশাখের দিন ১৪ এপ্রিল দুপুর ৩টায় রাজধানীর মানিক মিয়া এভিনিউতে ড্রোন শো অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। এতে শত শত সমন্বিত ড্রোন আকাশে অসাধারণ আলোকছটা এবং বিভিন্ন নকশা ও অ্যানিমেশন উপস্থাপন করবে। পরিবেশনায় বাংলাদেশের সাংস্কৃতিক প্রতীক যেমন ঐতিহ্যবাহী মঙ্গল শোভাযাত্রা, পাশাপাশি চীনা সংস্কৃতির উপাদানও তুলে ধরা হবে— যা দুই দেশের সম্পর্কের বন্ধনকে আরও সুদৃঢ় করার বার্তা দেয়। বাংলাদেশ ও চীনের মধ্যে সাংস্কৃতিক বিনিময় ও বন্ধুত্ব বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে এই যৌথ আয়োজনটি করা হবে।

এ তথ্য শুক্রবার নিজের ভেরিফাইড ফেসবুক পেজে পোস্ট করে জানিয়েছেন সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ক উপদেষ্টা মোস্তফা সরয়ার ফারুকী। তিনি লিখেছেন, চীনা প্রযুক্তি দল ইতিমধ্যেই ঢাকায় এসেছে এবং প্রস্তুতি কাজ দ্রুত এগিয়ে চলছে।

তিনি ঢাকাবাসীর উদ্দেশে লিখেছেন:
“হ্যালো ঢাকা, প্রস্তুত হও — ‘নতুন বছর, নতুন বাংলাদেশ’ প্রতিপাদ্যে অসাধারণ এক ড্রোন শো উপভোগের জন্য!”

"Recent Developments in Bangladesh-China Investment Relations and the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)"

Bangladesh has actively engaged with Chinese investors in recent months to bolster economic collaboration, particularly within the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) framework. These efforts have culminated in significant developments, including high-level visits and investment summits to enhance bilateral ties and attract foreign direct investment.

Chinese Investment in Renewable Energy

On December 22, 2024, a high-level Chinese business delegation met with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) to explore investment opportunities in Bangladesh's renewable energy sector. Representatives from leading companies such as LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Tongwei Co., Ltd., and Yunnan Show expressed strong interest in supporting Bangladesh's renewable energy goals, particularly solar energy. BIDA's Executive Chairman, Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, emphasized the government's commitment to creating a favorable investment climate, offering incentives like tax holidays and duty-free imports to attract foreign investors.

Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus's Visit to China
In March 2025, Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus visited China to strengthen bilateral relations. During his visit, he attended the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference in Hainan Province and held a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on March 28. President Xi indicated that China would consider lowering interest rates on loans to Bangladesh and reaffirmed support for Chinese investment in Bangladesh, including the relocation of manufacturing enterprises. Discussions also encompassed cooperation in water resource management and initiating negotiations for a China-Bangladesh Free Trade Agreement.

Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025

To further attract foreign investment, BIDA organized the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 from April 7 to 10 in Dhaka. The summit aimed to showcase Bangladesh's evolving investment opportunities and economic reforms. It attracted over 2,300 participants from 50 countries, including more than 550 foreign investors. Notably, China was among the top participating countries. The event provided a platform for global investors to explore Bangladesh's economic landscape and sector-specific opportunities.

Implications for the Belt and Road Initiative
These engagements underscore Bangladesh's strategic role in the Belt and Road Initiative. By fostering closer economic ties with China and attracting Chinese investment, Bangladesh aims to enhance its infrastructure and industrial capabilities, aligning with the BRI's regional connectivity and development objectives. The commitment to initiating a Free Trade Agreement and optimizing investment agreements further reflects the deepening economic partnership between the two nations, underscoring Bangladesh's pivotal role in the BRI.

This surge in Chinese investment interest aligns strongly with the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), where Bangladesh is a strategic partner under China's “Digital Silk Road” and “Maritime Silk Road” components. The 'Digital Silk Road' focuses on digital connectivity and technology transfer, while the 'Maritime Silk Road' aims to enhance maritime trade and connectivity. The growing Chinese investments in Bangladesh are not limited to infrastructure. Still, they are expanding to high-tech industries, energy, and smart manufacturing, contributing to regional connectivity, technology transfer, and industrial growth.

Additionally, in March 2025, Chief Adviser Dr. Professor Muhammad Yunus visited China and met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. This visit paved the way for deeper economic engagement, with China expressing willingness to lower interest rates on loans to Bangladesh and to promote the relocation of Chinese industries to Bangladesh.

Looking ahead, a high-level Chinese delegation led by the Chinese Industry Minister is scheduled to visit Bangladesh next month. This upcoming visit is expected to bring significant benefits, as it will focus on signing investment agreements, expanding cooperation in the energy and manufacturing sectors, and accelerating BRI-related projects, including infrastructure development and smart industrial parks.

Strategic Importance for the Belt and Road Initiative:

• Enhances regional connectivity between China and South Asia.
• Facilitates industrial relocation from China to Bangladesh.
• Boosts Bangladesh’s infrastructure and green energy sectors.
• Strengthens Bangladesh-China bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
• Supports the vision of shared prosperity under the BRI framework.

This growing engagement signifies Bangladesh’s increasing role as a vital partner in the BRI, with Chinese investments playing a transformative role in the country’s economic growth and regional integration, promising significant change and development.

সাম্প্রতিক মাসগুলোতে বাংলাদেশ অর্থনৈতিক সহযোগিতা জোরদার করতে চীনা বিনিয়োগকারীদের সাথে সক্রিয়ভাবে সম্পৃক্ত হয়েছে, বিশেষ করে বেল্ট অ্যান্ড রোড ইনিশিয়েটিভ (বিআরআই) কাঠামোর মধ্যে। এসব প্রচেষ্টার ফলে উচ্চপর্যায়ের সফর ও বিনিয়োগ সম্মেলনের মাধ্যমে দ্বিপাক্ষিক সম্পর্ক আরও দৃঢ় হয়েছে এবং বিদেশি বিনিয়োগ আকর্ষণের পথ সুগম হয়েছে।

নবায়নযোগ্য জ্বালানি খাতে চীনা বিনিয়োগ

২০২৪ সালের ২২ ডিসেম্বর, একটি উচ্চপর্যায়ের চীনা ব্যবসায়িক প্রতিনিধি দল বাংলাদেশ বিনিয়োগ উন্নয়ন কর্তৃপক্ষ (BIDA) ও বাংলাদেশ অর্থনৈতিক অঞ্চল কর্তৃপক্ষের (BEZA) সাথে বৈঠক করে। এ বৈঠকে বাংলাদেশে নবায়নযোগ্য জ্বালানি, বিশেষ করে সৌরবিদ্যুৎ খাতে বিনিয়োগের সম্ভাবনা নিয়ে আলোচনা হয়। উপস্থিত ছিলেন চীনের শীর্ষস্থানীয় কোম্পানি যেমন LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Tongwei Co., Ltd., এবং Yunnan Show-এর প্রতিনিধিরা।

BIDA-এর নির্বাহী চেয়ারম্যান চৌধুরী আশিক মাহমুদ বিন হারুন বলেন, বাংলাদেশ সরকার বিদেশি বিনিয়োগকারীদের আকৃষ্ট করতে কর ছাড় ও শুল্কমুক্ত সুবিধাসহ বিভিন্ন প্রণোদনা দিচ্ছে।

প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনুসের চীন সফর

২০২৫ সালের মার্চ মাসে প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনুস চীন সফর করেন। তিনি হাইনান প্রদেশে অনুষ্ঠিত বোয়াও ফোরাম ফর এশিয়া (BFA) বার্ষিক সম্মেলনে যোগ দেন এবং ২৮ মার্চ বেইজিংয়ে চীনের প্রেসিডেন্ট শি জিনপিংয়ের সঙ্গে দ্বিপাক্ষিক বৈঠক করেন। প্রেসিডেন্ট শি বাংলাদেশকে ঋণের সুদের হার কমানোর ব্যাপারে চিন্তা-ভাবনার আশ্বাস দেন এবং বাংলাদেশে চীনা বিনিয়োগ, বিশেষ করে উৎপাদন শিল্প স্থানান্তরের প্রতি সমর্থন পুনর্ব্যক্ত করেন। এছাড়াও জলসম্পদ ব্যবস্থাপনা ও বাংলাদেশ-চীন মুক্ত বাণিজ্য চুক্তি (FTA) নিয়ে আলোচনা হয়।

বাংলাদেশ বিনিয়োগ সম্মেলন ২০২৫

বিদেশি বিনিয়োগ আরও আকৃষ্ট করতে BIDA ঢাকায় ৭ থেকে ১০ এপ্রিল ২০২৫ তারিখে বাংলাদেশ বিনিয়োগ সম্মেলন ২০২৫ আয়োজন করে। এই সম্মেলনের লক্ষ্য ছিল বাংলাদেশে উদীয়মান বিনিয়োগের সুযোগ ও অর্থনৈতিক সংস্কার তুলে ধরা। সম্মেলনে বিশ্বের ৫০টি দেশের ২,৩০০ জনেরও বেশি অংশগ্রহণকারী ছিলেন, যার মধ্যে ৫৫০ জন বিদেশি বিনিয়োগকারী ছিলেন। উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে, চীন ছিল শীর্ষ অংশগ্রহণকারী দেশগুলোর একটি। এই প্ল্যাটফর্মের মাধ্যমে বৈশ্বিক বিনিয়োগকারীরা বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন খাতে বিনিয়োগের সুযোগ অন্বেষণ করেছেন।

এই কার্যক্রমগুলো বিআরআই-এর মধ্যে বাংলাদেশের কৌশলগত ভূমিকার গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরে। চীনের সাথে ঘনিষ্ঠ অর্থনৈতিক সম্পর্ক গড়ে তোলা ও চীনা বিনিয়োগ আকৃষ্ট করার মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশ অবকাঠামো ও শিল্প খাতকে আরও শক্তিশালী করতে চায়, যা বিআরআই-এর আঞ্চলিক সংযোগ ও উন্নয়ন লক্ষ্যের সাথে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ।

মুক্ত বাণিজ্য চুক্তি শুরু করা এবং বিনিয়োগ চুক্তি অনুকূল করার প্রতিশ্রুতি বাংলাদেশ-চীন অর্থনৈতিক অংশীদারিত্বের গভীরতাকে প্রতিফলিত করে, যা বিআরআই-এর জন্য বাংলাদেশের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকাকে সুস্পষ্ট করে তোলে।

ডিজিটাল সিল্ক রোড ও মেরিটাইম সিল্ক রোডের প্রসঙ্গ
এই চীনা বিনিয়োগের উত্সাহ বিআরআই-এর "ডিজিটাল সিল্ক রোড" এবং "মেরিটাইম সিল্ক রোড" উপাদানের সাথে গভীরভাবে সংযুক্ত। ডিজিটাল সিল্ক রোড ডিজিটাল সংযোগ ও প্রযুক্তি স্থানান্তরের ওপর গুরুত্ব দেয়, অন্যদিকে মেরিটাইম সিল্ক রোড সামুদ্রিক বাণিজ্য ও সংযোগ জোরদারে কাজ করছে। চীনের বিনিয়োগ শুধু অবকাঠামোতেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়; বরং এটি উচ্চ প্রযুক্তি, শক্তি এবং স্মার্ট উৎপাদন শিল্পে প্রসারিত হচ্ছে, যা আঞ্চলিক সংযোগ, প্রযুক্তি স্থানান্তর এবং শিল্প বৃদ্ধিতে অবদান রাখবে।

ভবিষ্যৎ সম্ভাবনা

২০২৫ সালের মার্চ মাসের চীন সফরে প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনুস ও চীনের প্রেসিডেন্ট শি জিনপিংয়ের বৈঠক বাংলাদেশ-চীন অর্থনৈতিক সম্পৃক্ততাকে আরও গভীর করেছে। চীন বাংলাদেশে ঋণের সুদের হার কমানোর ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করেছে এবং চীনা শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠান স্থানান্তরের ব্যাপারেও ইতিবাচক মনোভাব দেখিয়েছে।

আগামী মাসে চীনের শিল্প মন্ত্রীর নেতৃত্বে একটি উচ্চপর্যায়ের প্রতিনিধি দল বাংলাদেশ সফর করবে। এই সফরে বিনিয়োগ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর, শক্তি ও উৎপাদন খাতে সহযোগিতা সম্প্রসারণ এবং বিআরআই-সম্পর্কিত প্রকল্প, যেমন অবকাঠামো উন্নয়ন ও স্মার্ট শিল্প পার্ক বাস্তবায়নের ওপর গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হবে।

বেল্ট অ্যান্ড রোড ইনিশিয়েটিভে কৌশলগত গুরুত্ব:

চীন ও দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার মধ্যে আঞ্চলিক সংযোগ বৃদ্ধি।

চীন থেকে বাংলাদেশে শিল্প স্থানান্তর সহজতর করা।

বাংলাদেশের অবকাঠামো ও নবায়নযোগ্য শক্তি খাতকে শক্তিশালী করা।

বাংলাদেশ-চীন দ্বিপাক্ষিক বাণিজ্য ও অর্থনৈতিক সহযোগিতা জোরদার করা।

বিআরআই-এর "সমৃদ্ধি ভাগাভাগির" দর্শন বাস্তবায়নে সহায়তা করা।

এই বেড়ে ওঠা সম্পৃক্ততা বাংলাদেশের অর্থনৈতিক প্রবৃদ্ধি ও আঞ্চলিক সংযুক্তিতে চীনা বিনিয়োগের রূপান্তরমূলক ভূমিকা নিশ্চিত করে, যা দেশের সামগ্রিক উন্নয়ন ও পরিবর্তনে উল্লেখযোগ্য অবদান রাখবে।

অতএব, এটা পরিমাপযোগ্য যে বাংলাদেশ-চীন সম্পর্ক দীর্ঘস্থায়ী হবে।

Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to Bangladeshi President Md. Shahabuddin on the 54th anniversary of Bangladesh's Independence today.

In it, Xi Jinping mentioned that over the past half-century, China and Bangladesh have constantly developed relations based on the five pillars of peaceful coexistence. The two countries have always respected each other, treated each other equally, and cooperated.

He also said that cooperation in various sectors between the two countries has been fruitful and has brought tangible benefits to the people of the two countries. Stressing the importance of developing China-Bangladesh relations, Xi said that he would like to take the opportunity of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the "China-Bangladesh Year of People's and Cultural Exchanges" with the Bangladeshi president to strengthen the construction of the high-quality "Belt and Road" initiative between the two countries and the continuous development of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries.

The China-Bangladesh Friends of Silk Road Club was launched on June 17, 2019, which was dedicated to play a bridge role in boosting people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. It is expected to promote exchanges in people's livelihood, cultures, inspire dialogue, art, religion, ideas and technology, and consolidate the social and civil foundation for China-Bangladesh friendship.

As the most important sponsor of the Club, the Bangladesh China Silk Road Forum was formed on May 18, 2019. With an enthusiasm to develop and strengthen the relationship and cultural bonding among the peoples of the two countries, the platform gathered different fields of people who are interesting in develop good relationship with China, including but not limited by Politicians, Intellectuals, and Journalists, Cultural activists, eminent citizens and member of civil society of all works of life.

The name of the Bangladesh-China Friends of Silk Club comes from the connectivity between Bangladesh and China, which is one of the closest ties between the two countries today. Bangladesh has been a strong believer in regional connectivity, given its unique geopolitical position. Therefore, the Belt and Road Initiative, launched in 2013, provided a rarely good opportunity of Bangladesh to derive enormous benefits from it. The Silk Road, which originated a thousand years ago, has been reinvigorated by the Belt and Road Initiative. It is expected that the Bangladesh-China Friends of Silk Club will be known by more and more Bangladesh people with the enhancing alignment of the development strategies of the two countries, and making the two countries people get closer and closer.
