Quality education depends not only on dedicated teachers but also on providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

As part of my continued commitment to strengthening education in our constituency (Bafut-Tubah), it was an honor to support Basic Education headteachers in Bafut with a three-in-one printer to ease administrative work and improve access to essential educational resources.

Our teachers continue to serve with remarkable dedication despite numerous challenges. Supporting them is an investment in our children, our schools, and the future of our communities.

Together, we will continue working to create a better learning environment for every child.

In the community of Tubah–Bafut, we continue to face the realities of climate change, irregular rainfall, soil erosion, and growing pressure on farmland that affects livelihoods.

This is why I remain committed to supporting practical solutions that strengthen environmental awareness and promote community resilience. We must continue working together to protect our environment and secure a better future for our people.

I am deeply honoured to receive the Member of Parliament of the Year Award at the Cameroon Media Excellence Awards 2025 during the CCJN World Environment Day celebrations. This recognition strengthens my commitment to continue serving and advancing climate action and community development.

I remain open to collaboration and to supporting initiatives and projects that drive real development for our people

Too often, the gap between citizens and institutions creates misunderstanding, mistrust and missed opportunities for development.

That is why I was pleased to contribute to discussions at the RADA workshop from 3-4 June in Buea on strengthening engagement between the State and Civil Society. Building stronger channels of dialogue and collaboration is essential to promoting peace, protecting rights, and ensuring that development responds to the needs of our communities.

A stronger Cameroon begins with stronger partnerships between institutions and the people they serve.

Supporting community-led development remains a key pillar of my service to the people.

In line with this commitment, I was honored to contribute roofing materials, sand, and nails toward the completion of the Kezouh Quarter multipurpose hall—a project that will benefit generations of residents.

When communities take initiative, we must continue to stand with them and support their vision for progress.

It was a pleasure receiving the University of Bamenda Choir (UBA), a proud institution from the Tubah-Bafut Constituency, at the Parliamentary Flat (Hôtel des Députés) in Yaoundé as part of my commitment to youth mentorship and leadership.

Our discussions focused on career growth, social networking, creativity, and the importance of going beyond the classroom to build a purposeful future. I was also honored to contribute to the purchase of musical equipment in support of their artistic journey.

Empowering young people remains a shared responsibility.

I had the honour, at the invitation of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and with the approval of the Right Honourable Speaker of the National Assembly, to participate in the 12th Session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, where the 2026 Africa Sustainable Development Report was launched.

Serving as Second Vice of the Bureau of the 11th session, this forum reaffirmed a conviction I hold deeply: Africa’s future is shaped not by its challenges, but by the resilience and ingenuity of its people.

One message stood out; transformation requires coordinated action. Delivering on Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals demands alignment across countries, sectors, and institutions.

Progress is real, but so are the challenges from insecurity to climate pressures and financing gaps. The difference now lies in implementation at scale.

Encouragingly, the solutions are clear: stronger coordination, innovative financing, and inclusive development that places women, youth, and vulnerable communities at the center.

I remain confident that Africa has the vision, the tools, and the collective strength to deliver.

I am Honored to have represented Cameroon and the Central African sub-region at Uganda’s National Performance Review Conference, held in Kampala, Uganda.

In my intervention, I highlighted key lessons from ECCAS that can support the EAC in advancing sustainable development:

• Strengthening regional security through coordinated maritime systems and protection of the blue economy
• Supporting SMEs with innovative financing mechanisms to bridge the “missing middle”
• Advancing monetary stability through stronger regional financial institutions
• Promoting economic diversification to avoid overdependence on natural resources
• Embedding inclusive, gender-responsive approaches in climate and disaster management

Regional integration must go beyond trade. It must deliver resilience, inclusion, and shared prosperity for our people.

Cameroon remains committed to implementing the SDGs through its Vision 2035 and SND30, ensuring that no one is left behind.
