Today, on International Firefighters’ Day, we honour the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of firefighters here in Winnipeg and around the world. 🚒🔥

Every day, firefighters answer the call to protect our communities - responding to emergencies, supporting those in crisis, and standing ready when people need help most.

We also remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and we recognize the families and loved ones who support firefighters in the work they do.

To all firefighters: thank you for your service, your strength, and your commitment to keeping our communities safe. ❤️
