Guiding Coalition on Homelessness BACKGROUND/PURPOSE: The coalition aims to create a collaborative network of organizations and commun MISSION
As a coalition we will:

We are accountable to the Regional Safety and Well-being Steering Committee and to an annually updated action plan. Promote accurate and factual information about the continuum of homelessness as it relates to the determinants of health and inter-generational trauma. (communication strategy)
2. Gather and share information about issues that lead to homelessness in Wetaskiwin and area and make reco

mmendations to the Regional Well-being Steering Committee for potential solutions.
3. Advocate for continually reliable data on the continuum of homelessness i.e. understanding the current state of homelessness in Wetaskiwin. Increase actions towards reconciliation.
5. Create collaborative opportunities that support the vision of the Coalition.
