Putting Families First: Safer Communities in Simcoe-Grey
Families across Ontario have spoken—drug injection sites near schools and daycares are creating serious safety concerns. Parents should never have to worry about their children finding discarded needles or facing harassment on their way to school.

That’s why the Ontario PC Party is taking decisive action. By March 31, all provincially funded drug injection sites within 200 metres of schools and childcare centres will be closed and replaced with Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment (HART) Hubs.

✅ 9 new HART Hubs approved
✅ Part of a $378M investment in mental health & addiction support
✅ Up to 4x more funding for treatment & recovery
✅ More supportive housing, addiction care & social services

Public safety and access to care go hand in hand. The Ontario PC government, led by Doug Ford and MPP Brian Saunderson, is committed to compassionate solutions that work. Stay tuned as more HART Hubs are announced in the coming weeks!

Everyone in Ontario deserves access to a family doctor and primary care. That’s why the Ontario PC government has appointed Dr. Jane Philpott to lead an Action Team committed to ensuring every Ontarian has access to primary care within four years.

Ontario is leading the country, with over 90% of Ontarians already connected to a family doctor or primary healthcare provider. Since taking office, we’ve registered 15,000 new physicians, including a 10% increase in family doctors.

Under the leadership of Premier Doug Ford and MPP Brian Saunderson, we’re building a stronger primary care system—one that adopts best-in-class models and ensures every Ontarian has the care they need, when they need it.

✅ More doctors, better care, stronger communities.

The latest report confirms what we’ve been saying all along: LCBO revenues are increasing, while our government’s efforts to lower beer and wine costs are making life more affordable for families. By reducing mark-ups and removing unnecessary fees, the Ontario PC Party is ensuring more money stays in your pocket.

This approach reflects our commitment to choice, convenience, and fairness. Unlike Bonnie Crombie’s vision to raise taxes and protect outdated deals favouring large foreign corporations, Doug Ford, MPP Brian Saunderson, and the ONPC team are fighting for local businesses and consumers.

Simcoe-Grey deserves better, and we’re delivering! Let’s keep moving forward with policies that help people, not big corporations.

🚨 Investing in Better Home Care for Simcoe-Grey 🚨

The Ontario PC government is making bold investments to ensure more people get the right care, in the right place, at the right time. As part of the historic 2024 budget, an additional $2 billion will be invested to modernize Ontario’s home and community care sector.

This builds on the $1 billion from the 2022 budget and has doubled our investment in delivering home care services! 🚑

Since 2021, we’ve:
✅ Added nearly 25,000 PSWs to the workforce.
✅ Increased compensation for PSWs, nurses, and other frontline workers.

As leadership transitions at Ontario Health atHome, we’re confident in the new opportunities this change brings for improving services for patients and families across Simcoe-Grey and beyond.

Together with our partners, we are creating a health care system that’s ready to support you at every stage of life.

💙 Let’s continue building a stronger, more accessible home care system for Ontario!

🚨 Exciting news for Ontario's energy future! 🚨
Minister of Energy Stephen Lecce and Premier Doug Ford have announced a major step forward in refurbishing Pickering’s Nuclear Generating Station. This vital project will generate enough clean, reliable power for 2 million homes while creating 11,000 good-paying jobs right here in Ontario!

While the Ford Government works to build Ontario’s economy and secure our energy future, the Liberals are busy hiking the carbon tax that burdens everyday families.

This is what leadership looks like—investing in jobs, energy independence, and a brighter future for all Ontarians. 🙌

💡 Let's build Ontario together!

Putting Families and Communities First

Simcoe-Grey families deserve safe schoolyards, playgrounds, and communities. That’s why the Ontario PC Government is taking decisive action to address safety concerns surrounding drug injection sites near schools and daycares.

We’re transitioning all 9 provincially funded CTS (Consumption and Treatment Services) sites to Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment (HART) Hubs – a new, compassionate approach to addiction recovery that keeps our kids safe and delivers the support individuals need.

Each HART Hub will offer primary care, addiction treatment, housing supports, and social services – all tailored to reflect regional needs. Backed by our $378 million investment in mental health and addiction recovery, these HART Hubs will ensure a better future for everyone.

We are committed to a smooth transition, with all 9 HART Hubs operational by April 1, 2025. Additional hubs are on the way as applications are reviewed.

Together, we’re building safer, healthier communities in Simcoe-Grey and across Ontario.

🤝 Ontario and the U.S.: A Winning Partnership
Ontario is the U.S.’s third-largest trading partner, with nearly $500 billion in fair, two-way trade every year. This partnership fuels growth and success for businesses and workers on both sides of the border.

Tariffs would disrupt this vital relationship, hurting jobs and economies across North America. That’s why Ontario is focused on avoiding U.S. tariffs through collaboration and advocacy.

But make no mistake—Ontario is prepared to protect our workers and businesses using every tool in our toolbox. When we work together, we all succeed.

✅ Let's stand strong for fair trade.

📢 Making Life More Affordable for Simcoe-Grey Families
We’re delivering real support for Ontario families by fighting back against federal policies like the Liberal carbon tax, while responsibly managing Ontario’s finances.

✅ To ease the burden of rising costs, every eligible Ontarian will receive a $200 rebate, and families will get $200 per child under 18 who qualifies for the Canada Child Benefit.

💡 That’s $1,000 back in the pockets of a family of five!

This is part of our Ontario PC Party commitment to helping families and workers through challenging times. We believe in putting people first, ensuring relief goes where it’s needed most. Together, we’re building a stronger, more affordable future for Simcoe-Grey and all of Ontario.

🚨 Keeping Our Roads Safe! 🚨
Ontario’s tow truck industry has faced serious challenges in recent years, but the Ontario PC Party is taking action to restore safety and accountability.

Our government has introduced a certification program to ensure tow truck operators meet higher standards. New equipment requirements, mandatory training, and initiatives like the Tow Zone Pilot are helping to protect customers, reduce highway clearance times, and crack down on bad actors.

With these changes, we're strengthening public safety and ensuring fair practices for drivers and businesses in Simcoe-Grey and across Ontario.

Let’s keep building safer roads together!

🚨 Keeping Our Roads Safe: Strengthening Ontario's Towing Industry 🚨

Ontario's tow truck industry has faced challenges with rising violence and unsafe practices. That's why MPP Brian Saunderson and our Ontario PC government are taking action to protect drivers and improve public safety in Simcoe-Grey and across the province.

Here’s how we’re making a difference:
✅ A certification program now requires tow operators, drivers, and vehicle storage operators to meet higher standards.
✅ New equipment requirements (as of January 1, 2023) ensure tow trucks meet the same standards as other commercial vehicles.
✅ Starting July 1, 2024, all tow truck drivers must complete training before receiving a certificate.
✅ Building on the Tow Zone Pilot Program (launched December 2021) to reduce highway clearance times.

Together with law enforcement and the towing industry, we’re addressing bad actors and improving safety for all Ontarians.
