McMaster Sikh Students Association This is the official page of McMaster Sikh Students Association. Our aim is to spread knowledge and enrich the minds of today’s youth.

The McMaster Sikh Students Association is a student run organization that promotes the values, beliefs, and teachings of the Sikh faith. The belief of One God, one humanity, and equality amongst all is a cherished value of the Sikh religion, which we strive to uphold at McMaster University. Our weekly meetings include a combination of simran, Rehraas Sahib, discussions, workshops, and much more. A

lso, numerous events are held throughout the year such as the End-of-Semester Kirtan Darbars, Sikh Awareness Day, and the Charity Dodgeball Tournament. Moreover, we provide a social forum for our members through dinners, movies, bowling nights, games nights, etc. We also provide assistance to fellow students dealing with their academics, as well as any other concerns that come with being a university student. Our executive team will be more than happy to give you advice, the do’s and don’ts – seeing as we’ve been through the same experiences you’re probably going through right now! So come check us out - anyone and everyone is welcome! If you wish to be a part of our mailing list and to get the 411 on upcoming events, send an email to [email protected] and we’ll keep in touch! The year has come to an end already and we’re sad that our most anticipated event of the year “Turban Up” had to be cancelled amid University closure. But we still had a great year overall with your immense support and love.
We wish you all the best for exams and hope that you stay healthy and safe in this fight against COVID-19.
See you all back in Sept 2020 for another amazing year at Mac. Until then, social distancing it is.
