101st FISHERS' MEMORIAL SERVICE- SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13

All are invited to attend the 101st annual Fishers' Memorial Service on Sunday, September 13 at 2:00pm on the Lunenburg Waterfront (Bluenose Dr).

This service is dedicated to the memory of those who have gone down to the sea in ships and who have never returned. And in tribute to those who continue to occupy their business in great waters.

Wreaths in memory of lives lost are most welcome. Please contact the Lunenburg Town Hall at (902) 634-4410, ext. 225, to provide your wreath details for inclusion in the service.

Congratulations to Howard Blinn on his reappointment to the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board!
Howard has served on the Board since 2023 and brings decades of experience from Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard. His knowledge of the East Coast fishery and maritime industries has been a valuable asset to the Board and its work supporting Nova Scotia's seafood sector.
We thank Howard for his continued commitment and look forward to working with him over the next three years.
