IT’S OFFICIAL! 🗳️

Today, I handed in my nomination papers to the City of Surrey, and I am incredibly proud to say that I am officially a candidate for Surrey City Council with Linda Annis and Surrey First!

This is a pretty special moment for me. As someone who was born and raised in Surrey and is now raising my own family here, putting my name forward to serve the city I’ve always called home means more than I can put into words.

I want to sincerely thank the Surrey First Board of Directors for believing in me and giving me this opportunity, and Linda Annis for her leadership, encouragement and confidence in me.

Most importantly, thank you to my wife and our two boys, my mom, and all of my family and friends who have supported me, encouraged me, knocked on doors with me, shared my posts and believed in what I’m trying to accomplish. I could not do this without you.

Now the real work continues.

I’m running because I love Surrey, I believe in our community, and I want to bring the voice of an everyday Surrey resident to City Hall.

October 17, I’m asking for your support.

Let’s do this, Surrey! 💜

SURREY IS HOME. IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN.

I’m not running for City Council because I want to learn about Surrey, I’m running because I’ve lived it.

I grew up here. I built my life here. I’m raising my family here. I’ve spent years working, coaching, volunteering, and giving back to the community that helped shape who I am.

I know what it’s like to be an everyday Surrey resident, raising a family, paying the bills, sitting in traffic, using our parks and recreational facilities, and wondering what kind of city we’re leaving for our kids.

That’s why I’m running for Surrey City Council with Linda Annis and Surrey First.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a husband, a father, a coach, a volunteer, a community leader, and a lifelong Surrey resident who believes our voices deserve to be heard at City Hall.

I want a Surrey that is safe, affordable, family friendly and full of opportunity, with better parks, pools, rinks and playing fields, strong local businesses, responsible decisions at City Hall, and neighbourhoods we can all be proud to call home.

Surrey is my story. Surrey is my family’s future. And I’m ready to work for yours.

What a great weekend celebrating the incredible diversity and community spirit that makes Surrey so special! 🙌

I was grateful to attend two wonderful events, Ghana Day at Bear Creek Park and a special gathering with the Malasiquinian Association of BC.

It was a privilege to meet so many people, learn more about their cultures and traditions, and celebrate alongside families and community leaders.

A huge thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who welcomed us so warmly. These are the moments that remind me what Surrey is all about, different cultures, different backgrounds, but one community. ❤️

Proud to be out in our community, building relationships and celebrating the people who make Surrey such an amazing place to call home.

🚨 I NEED YOUR HELP! 🚨

I’m asking my friends, family and community for one simple thing:

Please SHARE this post. ❤️

They say we’re all connected by only a few degrees of separation. Imagine how many people across Surrey we can reach if each of us simply shares this message.

I’m running for Surrey City Council as an everyday Surrey resident, a husband, dad, worker, coach and community volunteer who genuinely cares about the future of our city.

I can knock on thousands of doors, but I can’t reach everyone alone.

You can help me change that.

If you believe Surrey needs honest, grounded, everyday people at City Hall, please SHARE, tag a friend, and help spread the word.

One person. One share. One connection at a time.

Thank you, Surrey. ❤️

🚔 STRONG POLICE. SAFE COMMUNITIES.

Surrey deserves a police service that is properly supported, respected and equipped to keep our neighbourhoods safe.
The new Surrey Police Service collective agreement recognizes the important and essential contribution of the SPS. Now it’s time to move forward.

As Mayor, I will:

✅ Complete the police transition — now entering Year 8
👮 Add 300 new police officers to strengthen frontline policing
🏫 Open a police training centre in Surrey to invest in the future of our police service
And most importantly, I will work alongside our police — not work against them.

Public safety shouldn't be a political football. Our officers deserve leadership that supports them, and Surrey residents deserve a mayor who makes community safety a priority.

It’s time to put Surrey First.

Together, we can do better.
