True North Society Together we walk the path with those in crisis, honouring the past, providing support in the present and awakening hope for the future.

Interrupting the cycle of abuse through empowerment to create a safe environment for all. We provide a safe place for families and individuals to stay until they are able to make a ‘next-step’. Our Shelter is a large family-type residential facility that can accommodate up to 25 people (adults and children) in seven bedrooms. Families stay together in their own bedroom for one night up to three we

eks. Clients are offered supportive counselling, assistance and referrals on our crisis line and during their stay. The Wheatland Crisis Society also provides educational, outreach and community support services in the Strathmore area.

Hey Community! A reminder that you are invited to True North's Annual General Meeting: June 24th at the Strathmore Civic Centre.

🚪Doors are open from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
🤲 The formal program runs from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The AGM is a great opportunity to:
~ learn more about True North and how we support our community,
~ learn about our achievements, challenges, and plans to continue supporting survivors of domestic violence,
~ meet our staff & board members,
~ network with our supporters & partners,
~ get informed about our strategic plan,
and more!
