As always, our community sure knows how to celebrate! What a great day. Thank you to all of the volunteers who worked so hard to put on such a great event. I am insanely proud to be Canadian and proud to serve in our community and beyond.

May 31 - Wowzers what a great day! I was beyond thrilled to marry Meagan, our fabulous municipal clerk, and Steven. March 29 - The Elgin Women's Leadership Conference is one of my favorite events. This is my second year on the committee and I emceed both years. This year the event was held at the CASO Station in St. Thomas. What an amazing and inspiring group of women! It was such a fabulous day!

March 8 + 13 - Federal Election campaign kick off - not only do I serve as an elected member in Bayham Municipality, I am also blessed to work on a Federal level for the Member of Parliament in Oxford. It was our job to get Arpan re-elected and so started a very busy campaign season - 36 days of non-stop campaigning. To have had the opportunity to see a Federal campaign from the inside was a great opportunity and experience! I met some amazing, hard working people and the exposure to the every day challenges over the course of the campaign helped me so much with my personal development and my leadership skills. Forever grateful! While the outcome of the national election was devastating, I am super proud that I was able to be part of this journey with Arpan and so pleased that he had the best election results in Oxford County history!

March 2 - MP Karen Vecchio's retirement party - it was an honor of a lifetime to dedicate my personal time as President of Karen's Electoral District Association. I served on Karen's Board of directors for 3 years, 2 years as President and volunteered on 2 of her campaigns. Time well spent and treasured!
