At The Belmont, we are proud to support local in every way we can. ❤️
From the quality products we use in our kitchen to the wonderful businesses and people who support us, community means everything to us.
Just a few of the frequent local spots we shop and support include:
• Alliston Creamery
• Alliston Potatoes
• Jamie’s Main & Local for their bread, buns, milk, sauces, rubs, deli meats, and continued support of local producers.
Most recently, we were introduced to the lovely Penny from Cornucopia Farms LLC, whose freshly farm-picked greens are now available through Jamie’s Main & Local! 🌱
Fresh-picked, locally grown, and delivered right here from Clearview, Ontario. Be sure to ask Jamie — he may be able to order some in for you!
At The Belmont, we also do our best to support local charities, community fundraisers, local clubs, local schools, Legion poppy campaigns, and initiatives that help strengthen the communities around us. We believe supporting local is about much more than business — it’s about people helping people.
As our communities continue to grow and more large chain and box stores arrive, it is wonderful to see growth and opportunity. While larger stores may offer the convenience of getting everything in one stop, many products are mass sourced and lack the personal touch and quality that small local businesses provide — whether it’s homemade goods, locally grown produce, handcrafted items, or personalized service. Small businesses are the heart of our communities, and they are often the first to step up and support others when help is needed most.
The Belmont also continues to host our metal recycling bin at the front of the building located at 7232 Hwy 26. All proceeds from the bin will be donated to support both the New Lowell and Stayner Legions. 🇨🇦
